Words and Pictures: Y (1993) - FULL EPISODE

Sophie Aldred goes yachting in the Lake District in one of those rare entirely-on-location episodes. This one's based on the letter Y, so look out for a yawning yak playing with his yellow yo-yo, amongst other things. The story is Little Beaver and the Echo by Amy MacDonald.
It's quite endearing to see all those youngsters enjoying some sort of adventure holiday, jumping across streams, climbing across narrow ledges, and walking up a waterfall. Sophie looks like she's having the time of her life, too - and even does her own stunts. That's dedication!
