and it took only 30 years. this company owns half of russia's entertainment system by now,and honsetly i thought it was a crown instead of a toad on that guys head. also fun fact: the logo aired on c-span once! it true, in 1991 c-span aired точка зрения[viewpoint] never again was VID logo was never seen in the U.S again.

I like the current logo way better than their earlier ones. The toad and the face looks less Chinese.....and more in tune with Russian TV influences of today. I say DA VID.... or however you say YES in Russian.

To this day I have no idea why the channel’s founder chose a Chinese man’s death mask for the logo, but I do like the old mask’s features. Why make it look les Chinese if the mask was that of a Chinese man?

this logo is known for being as one of the most disturbing logos of all time. from the man's face to the fact that this is a russian television service with it's russian alphabet. and not to mention the fact that the early version of this logo has a music that has that scary vibe in it. i can definitely tell 100% that this logo is scary and any child that see that logo will get scarred for life
