How many screen recording/talking head video software programs do you use for making a video? Could you recommend only one for both? If so, which one? My channel is mainly about photography so I don’t need a bunch of different programs for my use case. Thanks for helping me get started in Screenflow (a couple years ago I think), but I’m wondering if there’s a better program now?

I think screenflow is still a fantastic program!! No reason to switch. But I love that there are other options for non-Mac users. Descript in great for just talking heads. Tells is really neat and has some kinks to work out but I really like it for screen+face

I subbed to you years ago when i was looking for software to edit for youtube. well, i didn't start till this year. so that was 2020 APElements. as far as editing, that is the hardest and longest part of my video. but my videos are me out and about and riding a motorcycle and review a pipe tobacco and with a story. hard to script word for word unless i do voice over and that is not what i want to do. i have to deal with nature and surroundings when making a video. anyways, thank you for getting me started. i progressed well with software, and i am a small viewer market, which i dont think there is a need for, so i use that as my excuse for channel not growing, but i do get more watches with less subs then the tobacco market and my videos are being able to be watched year around with content. again, i am rambling, thank you!

@@meredithmarsh I see what you did there, motorcycles and tobacco blowing up! That was funny. Thanks for a chuckle this morning. I am attempting to learn to make a on line TV show on the medical industry of a skilled nursing facility. It might be 10 years before it gets made. But I have got started.
