I bought a red 22 Denali xl with chrome rims and teal interior. No air ride but rides great. Looks sweet. I will say the auto high beam headlights are goofy to use and shut off after they detect oncoming vehicle but they don’t auto back on…The cruise control is not adaptive on mine but it will Not maintain any sort of gap like one may think with the distance choices available in the DIC. The 22 does have all digital speedo dash which is cool. The fuel mileage isn’t great. 18.1 mpg from LA to Sac. The last gen got 24 mpg with cylinder deactivation. I paid 84k n change with zero dealer mark up. I own a Porsche Cayenne and of course the fit and finish isn’t perfect in Denali in comparison to what I know it could be. Overall it’s a great vehicle so far tho. Kids love it too. It does get up and go up to 112 mph with ease. 95 mph is at 2k rpm which is crazy to me. That 10 speed is great.

very true i agree but in order for gm to give u good product u gotta be willing to start paying at 70k, if not u gonna get the gm throw away vehicles , they offer down the line , the sad part is u pay so much and gm just gives u 3 years 36,000 basic , they know it will fall apart just at about 37,000 lol

One thing I'm not fussed on. That is, in the rear most seat, the centre seat belt comes out from the roof. I would prefer that from the back of the seat (i think a lot of multi seat vans have from the back of the seat). I'm not sure if it would pass our safety standards here in New Zealand with the safety belt from the roof.

I need to trade my Tahoe this year for business tax reasons, was going with a denali or escalade. But. can't bring myself to get either until the valve / engine issue is corrected. Too many videos with people have new GM's with very low miles and having to be rebuilt. Yes, it's under warranty but who wants a $90k truck with 2,000 miles and partially rebuilt engine?

@@ozzy6994 - And many GM dealers are price gouging, to the point that GM has stepped in. I know a guy that ordered a High Country truck, didn't hear a thing from dealer for 7 months. They called and told him his truck was in. Sat down to do the paperwork, price was $28k higher than quoted when ordered. $105k for a 1500 Silverado truck! He told them he understood there were shortages and material increases but no way that caused the truck price to increase over 25%. Their reply was, the demand and if you don't want it, we have a list of people that want it and will pay more than $105k. He told them to keep it and he wanted his deposit back. $105k for a 1500 Silverado truck. I have a almost new Ram 3500 dually Limited, 4x4, air ride suspension, loaded with every option including HO 6.7 with Aisin trans. I paid $83k. I have owned a Tahoe or Escalade for business vehicle and Dodge/Ram diesel for personal vehicle since the 1990's, averaging trading up each one approx every 3-4 years. For the first time, I am now looking at BMW, Audi and a few others to replace the GM SUV.

Honest opinion having a shorty Denali Yukon….super nice suv!! I have been exceptionally impressed so far. Complaints…..the Google system is definitely slower than the old OS gm used. And the side steps are slow because I have stepped on them a couple of times before they had fully deployed.

Thanks for the walk-around. This model is what I've been investigating. I'm also pleased to see that you were proud that there was no ADM sticker attached to the factory Monroney sticker. I'm thinking about ordering a custom Denali XI and in today's environment, I'm thinking it will be 3-5 months from order to delivery. Is that about right? Keep up the good work.

In the cargo area, underneath the cover there's more area for storage and the spare tire wrench and bar are in a bag. In front of those tools is two velcro straps. Every new Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban I've looked at has nothing in those straps. Any idea what they're intended to be used for?
