More to add on Soori Gun moment - In the intro scene he keeps on asking the other police how can you be so calm after shooting the guy.. whether it affects the person who shoots like that kind of doubt he had. Thats why he hesitated a little while taking that gun in the climax

Guys, illapa its hard to not root for Soori at that climax moment, I think its the victory of Director's execution. You end up rooting for different people at different times in the movie and you are also introspecting yourself as the film moves. Part 2 would be super interesting especially on this aspect of how and who to root for ! Vera level ah irukkum thanks a lot for pointing out that situation in the climax guys love you for that !

People as individuals are not bad in themselves but power gives them the protection to let those darker thoughts win. We usually don't do bad things because of the consequences but when you have power, the consequences are not that big. Regardless, it is a horrendous thing which needs to be addressed by increasing consequences even for people in power through checks and balances.
