That's how power is designed. If you are interested read the Stanford prison experiment. People as individuals are not bad in themselves but power gives them the protection to let those darker thoughts win. We usually don't do bad things because of the consequences but when you have power, the consequences are not that big. Regardless, it is a horrendous thing which needs to be addressed by increasing consequences even for people in power through checks and balances.

Unpopular opinion about Ilayaraja's music in Viduthalai. Songs duration reduce pannirukalam. Bgm could've been better. When there were moments that gave us Goosebumps because of his music, there were also a few moments where his music took us out of the scene's mood. GV or even SaNa could've done a fantastic job. P.S. I'm a fan of Ilayaraja's old songs ❤

Songs rendume romba nalla songs sir.. Aana adhu padathoda flow la oru speed breaker ah amanjidhu. Vaathiyar pathi innum konjam explore pannirukalam. Kumaresan pathi sollirukalam. I mean to say, story capture panra scenes la innum konjam concentrate pannirukalam. Vetri yepome avaru padathula songs vaiparu. Aana adhu full ah irukadhu. Cut panni rendu portions ah irukum. Sometimes andha song oru 30 secs vandhutu pogum. Andha full song kekura feel andha 30 seconds la namaku varum. Movie oda ah flow ah disturb pannaama irundha podhum.

Felt that Poori's character is no different than Emily Blunt character in Sicario. The perplexed view that state agencies can behave beyond normalcy and when a person become part of that system you start seeing the two sides of the system. So personally as a person soori has internal conflict between choosing the correct path. Follow his heart or the system. In the movie Sicario you can see how the main character even though she was a tough person who goes by the book was jaded due to the methods used by her supervisors from by her partnering state agencies. She did not agree with their methods but had to blindly follow it.
