Thank you for the step-by-step demonstration. I finally completed my first template. Really appreciate it.

One tip that I found really useful is to create 16 instances within VE Pro, name them 01, 02, 03 etc. assign separate outputs for each channel , and a new output so each one has its separate and output. Save it as an instance called 16 slot starting point. Then every time you start a new one just load that and add the instruments, it will save you all the work.

Wow... NICE...!!! Thank you. I've been hoping that you would do a tutorial on this... Thanks!

Great video. Quick question: with Elite Strings you added a player per channel. With Kontakt you added all instruments as a multi in a single Kontakt instance. Any thought on when to choose which strategy. Single Kontakt instances on each channel would yield the same, but of course Global purge wouldn’t be possible and needs to be done per instance. Any other considerations?

WONDERFUL! Thank you. - This should info should have been in the company videos. VSL should have you do all of their tutorials.

Really good video. However, the low string underscore is driving me nuts with the constant distraction.

Much gratitude for this very useful and well explained video. Is it possible in VEP 7 to use VST3 Plugins or only VST2 are accepted at this stage? Many blessings, MaxT

I like your method of doing things, because I also need separate tracks for each instrument in Logic, but I find the amount of outputs is not enough for my purposes. I will end up with a ton of instances if I am limited to 12-15 outputs for each instance. Does anyone know a good way to get around this??

Alex, does this particular subject matter come from a larger series of tutorials...??

Great video! I have a question however, why do you create a new instance of VEP whenever you want to use a new library? Is there no way to do this same process but inside one instance of VEP?
@ViennaSymphonicLibrary2 жыл бұрын
You can host as many instrument instances in a single VEP instance as you like / your system can handle. You have access to all 16 MIDI channels per MIDI port and to as many ports as your DAW can support. - Ben

Is that Marc Jovani's music in the background?

This seems like a good way to work for some people , but I have a question? If you are doing it that way with a set amount of tracks in your DAW and switching libraries inside vepro to then play with the same tracks in your DAW, How do you get on if you have created a piece of music using different libraries on those tracks when you need to bounce it all to audio? I am a little unsure how that would work with this way of doing things? Thank for the video though, most interesting, and I have not seen anyone else do it this way so far?

Hi! I am not sure if I understood the question right, but the idea is that, after this process, you would route the Tracks to specific Stems in Logic, such as, for example, Vlns and Vlas to "High Strings" Stem (with their reverb) and export from this Stem of just just that for Mixing. If what you mean is, for example, when you want to just duplicate Strings with different libraries, you Save your Track Stack into your Use Patches, and the just load another one, with another VEPro instance loaded with another String library. But ideally both of them should have the same routing to the proper Stem. (it is harder to explain in words than with video haha) Hope you get what I mean ;)

nice video... but please do not add background music as it's very distracting and I could not hear your instructions very well.

A lot of complicated work - for what? A template in Logic is enough. Why Ensemble Pro?
@emanuel_soundtrack2 жыл бұрын
when you use always the same instruments, saves more time and cpu. And you have more layering options with Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol. But i guess it can be confusing if you dont have any specific problem there to solve. . OF course Logic is enough
