This isn’t breakcore. It’s just dnb, albeit a very fast version of it that’s been long out of “style” since the early 2000s. Although artists such as sewerslvt and tokyopill are reviving this style of Dnb. It’s easy to mistake it for breakcore since this style of dnb like I said earlier is long out of style until recently (search for dnb mixes in the last few years and they don’t sound like this), and most people especially outside of Europe are not aware of its older brother jungle which also has some influence on this song

Bouncy, glitchy bass, liminal DnB groove, and A432 aside, the thing I love most about this is how it was evidently mixed for listening with earbuds. I tried listening with over-ear headphones and the kick sounded like it was sidechaining everything, it was that prominent. Earbuds though? Amazing. Everything was perfectly clear and balanced. If this was intentional, it's fascinating to see a producer considering these kinds of things. If not... well idk. They just added more percussion, put in an intro and made it all faster, but if you take the time to slow it down you'll realize that it sounds exactly the same as the original song by Frou Frou. And by the way, a sample is taking a small piece of a song and implementing it in yours, either using it to make another melody or to remix it throughout the song to the point where it is used as another instrument. Using the entire song is *not* using a sample
