Thank you so much for being a super-nerd, KnightmareFrame. I have been struggling for days to defeat bosses, especially Pyromaniac. My Viessa is level 40, but I didn't have the correct synergistic mods on my character, weapons, and reactor build(s). I watched your video today, and applied what I could that you've listed. It made all the difference. Now I can progress the main storyline, and take my time progressing other aspects of the game.I'm cautious; trying not to misstep Sincerely, thank you.

I honestly think I prefer purple reactors over gold. You don't get as much skill power, but the gold ones only give you that 160% bonus when that ultimate weapon is in your hands. If you swap weapons, you lose all that bonus skill power. With a purple, you get the 140% at all time as long as you at least have the correct weapon type equipped.

@@evandeweever7406 gold reactor stated that it need that weapon mounted, meaning the 160% ONLY active while you're drawing that weapon. Not a bug

Yea it has to be held. You can also do it the sweaty way. Swap to the weapon needed and use your ability and swap off of it. It will "snapshot" the damage boost from the 160% I personally hate snapshotting in games so....I'll be on the lookout for the right unique gun to be listed as my mounted gun on my reactor

I’ve tried almost all the characters (not at max with full mods) but Viessa’s playstyle having a mix of everything has brought me back to her. It’s hard to play something like Sharen just spamming the 1st ability after playing a well designed class like Viessa 😬

Polar night set works only with Absolute Zero mod and gun chill attribute. Viessa's skills don't cause frostbite without it. You're just not utilizing bonuses from the set, neither is your primary gun - it's too slow for synergy with that set and doesn't have the necessary mods. This set is used with ultimate Viessa with AZ and fast firing guns with chill atk and any of the two frostbite golden mods. Thundercage, for example, can be built to make TRIPLE AOE effect - one it's own electrical, one with the frostbite from it's mod and third - from the set. Together with Absolute Zero it will be way more effective, than using Hypotermia - this one is for the regular Viessa builds.

You can take it at your own pace and you'll eventually get there. Patience often pays off

It's not too bad. You get one for beating normal, one during campaign, if you're lucky you can drop them during campaign. I dropped 2 blue prints, farming other stuff, then hard bosses. If you're trying to focus a character, you get at least 2 by end of normal.

This isn't a game all day thing, even if he had been gaming all day so far it would be impossible to reach this build status. This is a whale 100%, it is impossible to unlock an ultimate descendant and farm both 7 catalysts and an energy activator in the time the game has been out for.

@@GodHexe Nice. I haven't tried hard Dead Bride yet. Hard Executioner was enough of a struggle for me. I just made a comment asking if you can proc Frostbite without Ultimate Viessa and the dedicated Ultimate only augment card... Do you know? From what I was looking at last night, the only way you can apply Frostbite is with Ultimate Viessa and the Absolute-Zero augment. I hope I'm wrong though

I have my with the second skill modded for 20% less cool down. Plus my 76% modules cool down reduction. So I can keep 2 blizzards up at once and spam the first ability with no cool down.

I put a lot of effort into Ult Bunny so I want the next descendant I use to be good at what Bunny isn't. I think Viessa is an awesome pick, just weighing the decision between her (awesome) and Gley (kinda OP).

Yea she is my favorite as well so far, I tried bunny but i find her having to run constantly in order to generate her power a bit lacking in some areas where you just don't have the room to do so and she's very squishy, Freyna is good but her problem is also that she's squishy despite her shield ability, maybe later on as i build her more she will be better? Viessa however, is great to play from the get go, pretty tanky of the bat, great abilities all around as well and just fun to play. Might not kill as fast as these others i tried but overall she's better imo than both of those

it IS her budget build. He utilizes mod meant for regular character you get from the start. And utilizes one of the easiest guns to build.

1 tip for knightmareframe, he doesnt do budget builds, even on his main game warframe he always shows off min maxed or in general high investment builds, just how his build videos are

@@metalviper1095 but in this case - it is budget or so called "f2p" build. In this game any effective endgame build demands at least 6-7 catalysts and maxed modules. And what he`s using - also works on regular Viessa. It`s still weaker, than modifying her second skill, but can be considered as cheap, if you compare it to Absolute zero builds or those, demanding maxxed out epic weapon.

Hang on a minute... Can you apply the Frostbite stat on your mods without the Ultimate Viessa augment? I was looking at mods last night and the only thing I saw that activated Frostbite was that one augment. So, unless I'm wrong, Frostbite is unavailable to normal Viessa and your build doesn't proc it? Awesome build though, I am following it. I'm just looking for a different mod set with a buff I can use.

Great video, but would like to ask why technician? It doesnt really have any effect on any of her abilities. Only thing i can think of is ice needle maybe? i cant check how it scales because i dont have the mod. In general, you build "skill power" rather than "skill power modifier" on viessa, unless im missing something with ice needle.
