Бобан Стојановић my opinion is that if you really want just some thrashy goodness, you go to early Metallica and Testament’s entire discography. Also Anthrax and Peace Sells Megadeth. I also don’t really think that Holy Wars is their best song, I think Hangar 18 or Tornado of Souls probably is.

Nice list. I definitely have an issue with Angel of Death not being on there. Then again, Slayer has a ton of great thrash riffs. Also, nice to see Caught in a Mosh ranked so high, but you didn't play the best riff in the song in your video. And no Testament? But thanks, there's a couple bands on here i've never heard of, so this gave me some new music to check out! Lastly, to the people asking where Pantera is, Pantera is not thrash. They are more a Groove Metal/post thrash era band.

Pretty good list man. Although I have to say. Holy Wars is one of my all time favorite songs and without a doubt one of the most legendary riffs in history. But Nothing beats the Toxic Waltz. Thats the heart of all thrash.

"Solo porque es famoso" pues algo habrá entre tener buena música y ser famoso, hay gente que no sabe que el metal se llama metal, sino que dicen que hay pop, rock y "Metallica", Metallica consiguió en la mayoría de países ser prácticamente un estilo, Metallica abrió puertas, y parece que la gente enseguida odia lo grandioso. Pasa con Dragon Ball, pasa con el Real Madrid, pasa con todo lo que tiene la etiqueta de más popular y también más grande. Y desde luego que Metallica ahora no es lo mejor pero han sido la más grande banda de metal y más conocida por fans y no fans sin lugar a dudas. Mejor o peor, eso ya es el eterno debate Pelé Maradona, pero al cesar lo que es del cesar. "Solo lo meten porque es famoso" es horroroso de leer, los posers y gente sin criterio ni conocimiento musical que digan lo que quieran, pero como los Metallica de los primeros años en directo jamás habrá otra banda así, y en otro estilo lo mismo con Maiden y los pioneros Black Sabbath (con popularidad más baja, otra época, menos medios en según que países...) hacer un top de riffs de thrash y no meter a Metallica es ir de super conocimientos y de guay, y es absolutamente absurdo, puesto que los primeros álbumes son obras maestras, Megadeth tecnicamente es colocal y aún así como banda Mustaine y sus mil hombres jamás se acercarán a lo que es Metallica, los Beatles del metal. Probando todo, haciendo todo diferente pero bueno, cometiendo errores y solucionandolos y así durante años y años con la misma formación dentro de lo posible. Yo no escucho tanto Metallica como de niño y me aburre escuchar siempre One, Master, Battery, Seek and Destroy etc pero no por malos, son tan pero tan buenos y los he escuchado tantos años que uno los aborrece y necesita otras bandas y culturizarse, llenar sus oidos de buena música. Pero aborrecer tras años no es lo mismo que "esto no es bueno" y creo que ahí mete la pata la mayoría de gente. Lo que Metallica ha creado durante los años y lo que ha conseguido la mayoría de bandas ni se acercarían y cualquiera que sepa algo de música por dentro sabe a lo que me refiero. Y eso teniendo un guitarrista mediocre y un batería mediocre. Hetfield sin ser el mejor cantante del mundo es un estilo único y el alma de Metallica, y este es otro punto a favor de ellos. Es un tocho lo sé, pero es angustioso leer chorradas de gente que se cree que sabe de metal y sabe como yo de poco o menos.

@Spyder589 i meant that for the video would be better to use a part of the song where the two guitars play the same riff that's what usually happens in thrash and even during the solos in the recording of the song there are two guitar playing the riffs (one on the left and one on the right) and another guitar that plays the solo. and a band with one guitar player and a song with one guitar part are different things. Destruction for example they have only one guitar player but he records 2 parts
