Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, oh my! If you haven't been following along with Contiki's latest journey on KZbin, I assure you, you're definitely missing out! This road trip takes us around some of Asia's most historic, exotic, ancient, and yet, still, somewhat, modernly, chic cities, including Bangkok, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, and Ho Chi Minh City, all seen through the eyes of today's most talented and inspiring film makers and vloggers, ultimately, in hopes of encouraging those who have a love for traveling (like myself), to live outside of their comfort zones and plan the adventure of a lifetime! Speaking of which, Contiki is all about having fun and truly, just being in the moment, while enjoying the sights and sounds of a new place, one may or may not exactly be, completely familiar with. With that said, every trip is associated with three different challenges, two of which, had to do with food, surprisingly, enough, and the other, of course, a scavenger hunt, with just a little bit of bravery and competitiveness, coming into play. Game. On! Those challenges, undoubtedly, test the biggest strengths and weaknesses of the entire group. In this case (spoiler alert), there were only three winners, two of which were a couple. Gasp! That can only mean one thing. That couple won twice! Wow! Can you guess who it is? Hint, both of their names start with the letter, J. Meanwhile, it seems like the rest of the participants, certainly gave it their best efforts and handled their losses in stride. Oh yeah, somehow, I forgot to mention the names of those KZbin'ers, my bad. In no particular order, Jesse and Jeana, Heart and Arnold, Will and Arden, Jamie, Chloe, and Allie. As for the other big winner from this trip, I guess you could say that he's my most favorite person to follow on KZbin, by far, as his recent travels, have not only inspired me, but have also taught me a lot about relationships. And that is very important to me. So, thank you, Louis! Staying true to who I am, as an aspiring travel writer/blogger, any advice that I can get within that specific area, is much appreciated. That includes, capturing perhaps, the littlest and more powerful of details, while zooming and focusing in on the vast types of architectures, as well as the different kinds of cultures, through the clothing and the apparel worn throughout each country. The same goes for all of the modes of transportation, the activities and/or sports, and yes, even, the current level of animal populations, that are present, within Asia. From the animals, to the food, there's so much to explore! Oh my god, don't even get me started! As far as I'm concerned, that big palate of yumminess, just speaks for itself! Am I right? Who's ready to dig in and get dirty? Ok, are you ready? On your marks, get set, go! What sticks out to me the most however, is Pho, better known as the delicious, Vietnamese version of Ramen, here in the United States. I mean, really? Need I say more? Honestly, what could be better than enjoying a nice dish of Pho, and hanging out with your friends on rooftop bars, whilst, taking in, arguably, some breathtakingly gorgeous and amazing views, all at the same time? Absolutely, nothing! Cheers!
