Very helpful video! I am your new subscriber and would like to ask you 4 questions: 1) Do you need to pay for a monthly international plan or a prepaid plan to keep your U.S. phone number active while staying in VN for a few months? 2) Do you need to notify your bank that you are in VN so you can still check your bank account in VN? 3) Will the bank need to send you 2 steps verification process before you can access your bank account in VN? 4) How can the bank keep in touch with you if fraudulent activity happens? Hope you can answer all my questions and enjoy traveling!

Hi, I am from Canada so it probably works different here. 1).I purchased a ESIM card for the phone., therefore I didn't have my number 2) I notified my bank before I went but still was unable to get into anything. They wanted to send me a text for verification, which didn't work with a sim. However if I had the app it may have been easier.. 3 & 4. Im not sure , they tried to send me verification to use my credit card or go to online banking, which didn't work because I couldn't receive a text. I had to call them and talk to several people to be able to use my credit card for a few things. I will be looking for a different travel credit card . It was inconvenient . Sorry, I don't have the correct answers. being Canadian and it was my first time going there so I didn't really know what to expect.
