Overview of Lam Dong Province
-Lam Dong Province is located in the Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen) region of Vietnam.
-The provincial capital is Dalat City.
-Lam Dong's terrain is mostly mountains and plateaus with an average altitude of 800 to 1,000 meters above sea level. Dalat city at an altitude of 1475 meters.
-The average annual temperature in Lam Dong province ranges from 18 °C to 25 °C.
-The economy: Tourism services, plant tea, coffee, and vegetables.
-Lam Dong has the largest tea-growing area in Vietnam.
-Currency: Only Vietnam Dong (VND) is allowed to pay.
-Total area: 9,783.2 km2.
-Total population (1/4/2019 census): 1,415,500.
-Density: 145/km2.
-Places for tourists to visit: Bao Loc tea farms; Vegetable field, flower field in Dalat. Dalat City is also called A tourist city, a flower city, a mist city.
-Specialties: Bao Loc tea, Dalat flower.
-The local people are very friendly and cheerful with visitors.

It is not possible yet for a visit to be made from UK to Viet Nam, but this and your other delightful videos mean that I can make a virtual visit any time I like. A few years ago during a visit to Ha Noi one of my young Vietnamese friends asked me if I had fallen in love with anyone during my visit. What a question! I was able to tell her truthfully that I had fallen in love with Viet Nam and all of you, when I first visited Viet Nam in 2004. Age is not a barrier to falling in love. I remember my bicycle trip to Da Lat with fondness. Really enjoyed Da Lat. Best vegetarian food I found in all of Asia. I think it was the Happy Cow restaurant. I guess the cow is happy as people at the restaurant are not intersected in eating it. Had the best selection of tofu ever, regular, fermented etc. I think the two of us were the only foreigners in the restaurant so it must be locals for the most part. Found it on the internet and it was close to our hotel, so we road or bicycles over to it and gave it a try. Glad we did. Remember had a hard time trying to find a place to lock up the bicycles near the restaurant. I do believe there might be more motorcycles in Vietnam than mosquitoes.
