It was absolutely disrespectful the way guide was talking about the Temples and especially Shivalinga and also how later you guys made comments as well. This is a Hindu Temple complex of Champa kingdom of Cham people who were Hindus and Hinduism is still practiced in many other parts of the world. Watching this was really hurtful.

@@NaickKim What guide explained was vulgar but what hurt the most was the comments at 4:00 min you made about Linga. It's called Shiva Linga. Linga is a Sanskrit word meaning Sign, proof and Shiva is one of the most worshipped God and among the 3 Supreme attributes of Brahman (the unknowable Supreme Being) so Shiva Linga means the Sign of Shiva. I think it wasn't just your fault but you just went ahead with what guide said but you should have at least kept in mind that you're in Temple premises so one must be respectful and Hinduism is still alive and followed by over 1 billion people.

My Son is the Vietnamese word for the temple the original name in Cham I heard is lost in history. It is actually within the ancient capital of the ancient kingdom of Champa called Simhapura which means the Lion City, it dates back to the 4th -8th century but all the ruins of that’s city was literally destroyed. Whatever was left of it during the French colonization time, they destroyed and finished it off even more by taking bits and pieces of the city and using it to build other stuff. So basically this ancient capital is lost forever only thing left is MySon, reason why the original name is lost because the city was destroyed. Definitely need to go see this. Champa temples are as old as the ones you see in Cambodia, Java, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand .

This is an historic site of immense importance, accordingly they should employ guides with thorough knowledge of ancient cultures of the region. There is no mentioning of who built the temples and what religion they belong to. Then there is this clown who is making fun of Shiv Lingam. Indeed, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom are gigantic compared to My Son, and they’re preserved well in the jungle. My Son was severely damaged in 1968 during the Tet Offensive, and the largest building in My Son was torn down. The Imperial City in Hue was in the same fate.

You didn't do the reviews of other vietnam temples. These were the champa Hindu temples. You should visit Vietnam many beautiful temples and imperial palaces in Hanoi and Hue. Example would be "chua bai dinh" or "chua tam chuc".
