Lol he's struggling in the q and A. He said yes it's good we stopped Rolling thunder because it freed up airpower for the HCM trail. But earlier he claimed that interdiction of that infrastructure was impossible and what we did was minimal in effect. That was a people pleaser answer. He wants to sound like he's objective but that question nailed him. He obviously had notions and opinions and wrote his book to reflect those biases. He says "it's good that we stopped RT, but not for the reason you think" 🤔 I think it's exactly the reason we think. Critical thinking is a bitch when its aimed at you lol

47:30 No, he said that the US invading North Vietnam would not alone be able to cut off the Ho Chi Minh trail because the NVA logistics planners could reroute around where the US was invading. That's why he was saying it was better to divert airpower to attack the Ho Chi Minh trail directly instead of focusing on targets in the North. Nonsense. Richard Nixon was a republican and the President for the last 6 years of the war. How dumb can you be? The war was a political fight inside Vietnam, a civil war. There is no military solution to a political war. Get an education before you post foolish comments.

The military lost the war, and Republican President Nixon and the Republican majority Congress from 1972-1975 negotiated peace with dishonor and sold South Vietnam down the river. Your head is so far up your own butt, you need a glass navel to see where you're going.
