We are going to Vietnam for the first time in 2026. can't wait. It's great seeing Grown Up Gaps instead of the younger generation. Love the channel just new to it.

did you guys retire in asia?
@grown_up_gap_years2 ай бұрын
Yes we’ve retired but travelling all over the world. SE Asia is a nice base for now but we’ll head out elsewhere in the new year.
@steveth1000Ай бұрын
That would be nice. We retired too but as we spent many years already travelling, we are happy to stay in Australia now but we still pop off to SE Asia, Bali or New Zealand for small holidays. We spent 3 months in Vietnam in late 2019 and we were sad to leave. Luckily we still had Cambodia and Singapore to visit straight after. Enjoy your travels.

@ well they are great places to visit. Thanks for the good wishes. 😀

My wife and I did an egg coffee tour in Hanoi, just us, it was interesting to see they all tasted the same but were served in different vessels, not just the normal coffee cup. Sua meaning milk is pronounced as sewer, you said it correctly. Cafe sewer dar. The absolute best coconut iced coffee in Danang in IMO is at H Coffee on the beach side of Danang . I wasnt impressed with your coconut coffee at all.

Thanks for the info. When we go back to Danang we will definitely give H Coffee a try.

These coffees won’t be for you, but Vietnamese coffe is excellent. We often enjoy it without milk or sugar. It’s very good.
