The long snails you ate are called "razor clams" in English. They are harvested in the U.S. in California. I am curious about Vietnamese snails because they are a sustainable and affordable protein source. I remember talking with a French vlogger because she said she did not like French snails. I mentioned eating "fruits de mer" in a French seaside town and she said she enjoyed those, but did not like French land snails.

I’ve never heard anyone call a razor clam a “bamboo snail” 😂 lol. My dad and I used to catch those all the time when I was young. Never liked eating them myself though
