Hera think about wheelbarrow timing for Vietnamese. I’m convinced that they should always get wheelbarrow before clicking to castle age. I know you were going CA so didn’t need a huge food eco right off the bat in castle but I’m convinced it’s just better.

yeah, optimal timising is on about 15 vils on farms, but the fact it researches faster for vietname will also cause your castle age time to be later

@@th-od4yvthat’s optimal for other civs tho yea? Not Vietnamese? Vietnamese research it twice as fast and it costs less so the ideal time should be much earlier. Plus if you pick it up before castle age then you get a lot of extra res on the way up compared to normal civs without wheelbarrow

@@andrewharris890 yeah, it costs less wood, but thé same amount of food, and because it researches so fast, you "lose" 175 food in 1,5 vils production, so u spend 100 food than if you would have had made villagers, in the long run you get this back but your Castle age time will be delayed due to this

@@th-od4yvok yea you’re right but only by 100 food which I feel is basically negligible especially because your farming eco will be flying on the way up. You will most likely be able to immediately afford hand cart when you reach castle age as well because of the extra food. All I know is that in my experience it feels super strong
