I've been to Tokyo two times for a total of roundabout 1 month & 1 week. In my opinion it's overrated. Yes, it's the most urban city in the world but it's also full of lights, distractions and huge crowds of people. You also often have the feeling you're walking in a crowd of soulless people since everyone is so stressed out. Have seen people falling asleep in trains a couple of times.
