that is one neat drum. Love the fact you are playing a Godin, great Canadian guitar company! They have some great technology built into them.

I need this course ASAP, I also hope that it will include some of Ali Farka playing style lessons.

Still working on it today to be ready for release tomorrow. Yes it does. You'll learn Ali Farka's famous version of Debe as well as about playing in the general style of Ali. Plus tonnes of other lessons about music of the Mandingue, Fula, Tuareg, Bozo and classic Malian styles.

@@WorldMusicMethod Hello WMM team, I purchased this priceless course yesterday and planning to study it for a year. It has the exact information every guitarist should know about Malian music. Yet, I am a little bit disappointed about not finding fretboard sections on some episodes, hopefully you all will help us with this too 🙏🏼 Also thanks for bringing Vieux the legend! 🤝🔥🫡

The virtual fretboard, notation and tab is being added on all lessons. We wanted to get this course out on Boxing Day so made sure the first 3 modules were complete. Vieux's guitar parts are quite intricate so it is taking longer to transcribe than some other courses. If you check back in a week I imagine it will all have been transcribed

Awesome, I would like to know the turning of the guitar. I am told Malian turning is different.

The majority of this course is in standard tuning but for some stuff Vieux tunes the low E string all the way up to G

Can someone explain to me what instrument the percussionist is using? Sounds amazing! Sounds like a sample even

That's the Calabash, Francophone countries write as calabas or kalabas
@marcellospagnolo8 ай бұрын
very cool.. where do you think can I get the stand for the calabash that the percussionist has?
@WorldMusicMethod8 ай бұрын
It's not an official stand. Just a stool that we found in the studio that was the right height
