Recovery work continued on April 23, 2024, to remove debris around the cargo ship Dali.
The Key Bridge collapsed when the Dali crashed into it on March 26, 2024, causing it to fall into the Patapsco River.

Probably not, wasn't the ship headed for Sri Lanka or some other nearby cesspool? Imagine all the rotting food and other living items.

@@Manigo1743 one hit in 47 years doesn't make a valid point, other than the bridge wasn't designed to take a hit that large... and there were no ships of that size when the bridge was built. Using your logic we shouldn't construct any tall buildings because we have airplanes.

What is going to happen to all those containers
@rupe53

They will probably be put on another boat and then off to their original destination... or at least anything that wasn't damages or perishable. The ship itself will need repair to be ready for the open ocean.
