An apology to the early viewers: You won't be able to watch this in 4K for a bit, my bad for publishing it too soon after it finished processing!

The unretirement era was a good day, caught all R42's running on a Saturday.

I'm a huge advocate for more composition and experimental films. I've been trying to hop on the trend and I hope I eventually can. What's some advice on that?
@SomeTrainEnthusiast4 жыл бұрын
Well I wouldn't really call it a trend (unless I'm unaware of a recent spike in people trying experimental film), since it's been a thing for quite a while. I also wouldn't really call this specific video experimental; Atlantic Branch is a much better example. As for advice, I would say just try stuff. When I made Atlantic Branch, I was just trying stuff. Eventually I would like to try using an actual film camera. Also, if you don't already know about it I would highly recommend checking out the Anthology Film Archives in the East Village. They're probably closed right now because of the pandemic, but they have a lot of experimental and avant-garde films in their archives. About a year ago they dedicated a month to screening films about infrastructure and transit, which was very inspiring.
