View from my city balcony - Singapore

This is view from my balcony taken at Sophia Road, Singapore- just behind the Istana off Orchard Road. Actually taken in 2005. The radio was playing a rendition of Gabriel's Oboe performed at the Vatican. I happened to have my video camera handy. I always find it remarkable that such lush greenery existed in urban settings. Unfortunately, a few months back the body corporate hired some idiot who chopped the trees in half and removed all the branches and leaves on the trees.
