After spending so much time combbing the bushes in search of the land seller who was said to be on the run, reports later had it that he had escaped through the bushes to report himself at the police station for fear of being lynched after learning of the murder incident; the actual mentally derailed killer was at cooling at home not knowing to everyone until he was uncovered by an inquisitive/investigative community youth.
