As i was watching this back i was shouting at the monitor 'USE DEATH!' and more.. You made really valid points and its all information ill take in. Id highly recommend anyone interested in optimising (or just not sucking in my case) their disc gameplay to reach out to Disc. I implemented a lot of the changes in my next few keys and i felt a lot more in control of my rotation. Still learning to trust my atonements but already seeing the benefit. Thanks again Disc

Agreed. I used several of his tips and while I might not always agree with talent choices ext. I have improved. One thing I will do if I need the extra attonement during a bender window is after the 3 smites following g my first death I will drop my 4th smite for a quick radiance. Its less than .5 seconds difference most of the time on getting back the next reprimand and I will still average 6 torments. I would recommend going to a dummy and practicing your bender window until you have it down. Try out the timing so you can see if you have time for halo/star vs needing another smite for cd. Once you have tier that timing changes so practice it before going out into the world. Good video disc keep it up.

@@cryptyx27 I think a huge contributor is the fact my action bars are a bit of a mess so I overlook some spells entirely and then just remember last second oops I should have pressed it. I’ve only been playing priest for 3 weeks or so as a healer so ive realised quickly it’s a drastic change to other classes I’ve played

@@cryptyx27 The thing that baffles me is there isn't a "wrong" build. And just because a 3rd party website promotes something specific has no bearing on what I have to do nor does it highlight something "correct". It's all seems to be taken as this form of doctrine that I don't subscribe to. I spend 2 talent points counter to what wowhead says and that's all people focus on when I have so much more to offer in my videos.. Furthermore, with my talent choices, I very intentionally develop methods to maximize each one individually AND still parse 99% hps/dps. Which is saying more than most. But I wouldn't recommend your Radiance coming before your second Penance. Better for after and FIEND for that second Penance first.

I saw the rude discussion last week with a view blasting some talent choices of yours and I am by no means doing that. I hadn't been using TE but you and I had a discussion about it and I've been running it instead of some of the other meta choices. But there are things that after some experimentation I find just work better for me. That's personal preference and what makes some of the talent choices interesting. I appreciate all you do for the community.

Late reply, one point about radiancing yourself, you should definitely do it, but at very specific situations. For example you have a hunter on the team how likes to stand in narnia, your atonement on team wont reach him, so you either have to rely on him staying closer, or position yourself in between and self radiance

@@JustDiscipline yeah. Watching your videos it looks like you only really track like one or two spells per group. This spells that really matter. It would be cool to have like a reference guide for which ones.

What helped me years ago is to adjust my entire party frame/bars color to something out of the ordinary to specifically know I have atonement on the person (Disc uses this method). Of course that color changes when a dispel is needed (like Disc alluded to in this video), so to counter this, along with the atonement frame color, I have a small thin bar at the top of each frame that goes from right to left signifying the atonement duration left. With the frames I see here, I have a really hard time getting that split second information on who is atoned and for how long. ie. atonement icon is right beside renew, (TBH renew is just an atonement applicator. I don't care or want to see it on my frames. All that matters is atonement. ) and PW:S is beside that. Also PW:Fort indicator shows up out of combat - not necessary. Some quick frame work here would go a long way imo.

Yes, we have already made that change! My atonement duration bar is larger now AND to track dispels I use a WA to place a border on the frame to not interfere with the atonement color or be too crazy.

@@JustDiscipline For some reason I will do really well on some dungeons some weeks then they become such a pain in the next week. I cleared this dungeon on a 21 then this week dying on 18~19. The first boss I can't determine if it's the tank messing up or what. Right when frustration hits in you drop a video :) for the exact dungeon.

@@JustDiscipline that's why I started recording my gameplay but I am in a strange space where I can't get a completed key that does not break or long enough for people to actually stay past 5mins. I'm trying to get over to you on metaphy. I was looking at it today you are in the main page as a "new" trainer.
