Sandman! Showtime At at The Apollo would come on after Saturday Night Live for my entire upbringing and was quite surprised when I found out that it wasn’t a national thing.

Yeah! Dave and his team always pre-recorded a lot of things so that everything came out smoothly. If they hadn't, then nothing would have come off as smoothly as this did.
