Viewer Request - USS Cortez VS USS Enterprise E & F - Both Ways - Star Trek Starship Battles

Today we have a request, to put the Connie Refit USS Cortez against the Enterprise E & F.
This is going to be a serious challenge. I have a feeling the Side Firing Pulse Phasers will come in handy!
Played from both sides in Star Trek Bridge Commander Remastered.

This was a super cool battle, but I think you got too close in the end. You did great engaging them at a distance when you could dodge the torpedoes.

😨Jeepers Admiral.. the Cortez looks amazing and the weapons, that is a nice Connie. wow.. seen so many ships, I am lost if seen or not.. lol In Picard 3.. hmm just saying, if Starfleet was going for Neo-Constitution class of ship, They should have used this one. gosh. lol Still well done Admiral. gosh easily took out the Ent E but the Ent F, was close.. wow. impressed.. and capable ship.. love the battle Admiral. I too wonder if any fishy on the ship, but that was Picard's pets. lol.. 😊🖖

Great stuff as always. That was a big ask of the Cortez, but it did really well. Taking out the Enterprise E in the first battle was no mean feat and you still gave the Odyssey a bloody nose at the same time.

Every time you turned to the side you let them get closer, and that pulse phaser is nowhere near powerful enough to make it worthwhile. Also if you are getting close to the Odyssey class, taking out the rear weapons is first priority, since you're fast enough to stay on it's tail. Then you can take your time. I'd go for the odyssey first. Target the sensors, keep running and just use the aft quantums. Keep it chasing you so you only need to wear down the forward shields. Don't turn to the side and let them close the gap except to dodge quantums. Distance is key. Once you're through the odyssey shields and armor and the sensors are disabled, you can absolutely take on the sovereign 1 on 1

Sadly I’ve heard that the consensus is that the fish tank is an inhumane feature that’s out of place in a federation starship, so it’s doubtful we’l see something like that again on screen.

Before I see the whole thing, your strategy sounds good... keep your distance because it's still 2 on 1. That "super Connie" is very formidable. I guess that there's a slight chance of survival 😄. I'm going to sound like Spock... I estimate your odds at 23.486% 😆 Edit: Yes, that was close, but the F flanked you from above while you were destroying the E. 😀 I probably would have done the same... that fight might have lasted forever if you didn't get in close.

LOL. That sounds like a Vulcans estimate...they almost seem a pessimistic race. However your prediction is sadly true on this occasion 😂. I think the problem was, once the aft shields were toast, I couldn't really maintain distance.. If only they would make aft shields the strongest! 🖖

I mean, the Cortez clearly isn't anything in the realm of a connie refit. It's a much larger ship with a similar hull configuration.

The Cortez is pretty. My only negative criticism is the nacelles. They are rather long in comparison. But good nod to the Connie

That was our thoughts when we (my son and I) watched the previous video with the Cortez, how would it do against the E, or then the F, individually. I think my son knows ships by name better than I do he's see so many RB videos!

Sorry for not posting until now. I thought I did. I was in the hospital when you released it and was only able to see it on my phone. I swore I posted saying I'll re-watch it when I get home, which I am now. The Cortez is a cool design. The only thing I don't quite like are how thick the pylons are compared to the rest of the ship and nacelles. What happened to showing both ways? 😛
