All the Delta/CAG rifles were awesome. That KAC M110A3 is probably my favorite.

JSOC tube guns are the most interesting since even then, they had more capability than over 99% of AR-15s out there, while still being lightweight.

This is a great series thank you for doing it. Id suggest please open the series up to cloning other NATO countries or entities. I suggest this for more Varity of submissions. I really enjoy this series, but I'v seen some impressive clones( like a g36c copied from a KSK setup and a danish 417 setup) Id be a shame to miss out on some of those cool guns!

That CQBR from American Sniper is exactly the type of clone/inspired by build that I’m currently gathering part sourcing information from. So it was a pleasant surprise to watch this video and basically have my entire parts list taken care of in an instant

Second place is a three way tie between the CAG rifles and the GB DMR, but wow, the M110 got a full volume holy shit out of me. All these were very, very well done.

The blockii fsp tongo tongo rifle I think is next seems like the most reasonable and interesting option plus I’ve been wanting an blockii 14.5 to go with my mk18 mod0 PS please keep doing these

I have too much of a soft spot for MK12s to not pick that one. Great attention to detail from all of these gents. Cool little tidbit. I have one of those M4A1 lower receivers on my URGI clone.

Great video!! and great work by all the builders - both shown and those that didn’t make the final edit too! I find this type of content entertaining, greatly informative and the perfectly placed kick in the arse I need to regain forward momentum in completing my own clone. Born in 66- first Gen X draft class I figured building a colt 603 would be appropriate. Started very many years ago - long before I had ever heard of a clone build or knew of such a thing - with the purchase of an entirely rando part (a teardrop fwd assist from that Colt 603/XM16E1- about as iconic a part as can be!) started me down the long and sometimes frustrating path to acquire all original small parts off of deactivated rifles available at that time. In a time long before the Brownells Retro line, it took a bit of effort and patience. (Pretty sure I’m still waiting for the back in stock email from Nodak spud for the slab side receiver)t. But Brownells made new manufacture parts plentiful it kind of sucked the fun out of it. 10 years of effort turned into just another retro rifle obtainable with just a click and a credit card. I think maybe finding this channel you’ve inspired me to put in that last 10% and finish it up thanks!!

The MK18 Mod1 may be basic, but I have a soft spot for them as that was my first clone rifle.

Having been an infantryman in the Army and my last name being Gordon, as well as being an AR15 fanatic, I am obligated to build a Gordy. Many guys over the years called me Gordy.

Great Video! I enjoyed Ep. 1 as well. I don't have the patience to wait for parts to come available to do my own Clone Build or the self-control to save money for more expensive parts. I will be living my clone tism vicariously through these Clone Build videos. Keep it up. I look forward to Ep. 3.

3:00 I mentioned it before, but I had a DD rail on a 416 I had while in Syria. I kinda wish I knew someone who had one. Mine didn’t do a good job holding zero for my IR. Though I don’t know if it was the rail, or the DBal I was using.

I remember the MK 12 prototypes rifles at AMU going back to 99.

They spent a few years in development with Crane and the AMU, but didn’t deploy overseas until ‘01

I love all your content! Keep it up! Do you know what the cut out is on the swan sleeve on the MK12 mod 0, about mid way down down the rail? I'm guessing its for a NV clip on but I have never seen a picture of this track/groove/cut out in use.

I found an original aimppoint compM at a garage sale. It would be cool to set up a retro build but its hard to see the dot during the daytime on its brightest setting.
