Really glad to see Rumbleslam getting some love, it's one of my favourite games. Just FYI, wrestlers rope abilities don't get the +1C given to rope attacks (p14 left paragraph)

Huge fan of this game! Watched wrestling as a kid and this is juts incredible, letting you relive those moment while aslo creating new crazy spots. I don't think you really mentioned it but most of the Superstar wrestlers are inspired by real-life wrestlers (like Granite is The Rock, Gun is HUlk Hogan etc) so if you're a wrestling fan this game really is a must. Not to mention it's definately the best wrestling board game in existance. So yeah if it wasn't obvious my vote is FOR. This game needs so much more recognition and I'm glad you made a video on it.

For. I enjoy. Very much like the presentation of the game and how on the surface it's quite simple, yet also has quite a bit of hidden depth to it. I also enjoy that it takes place on such a small play area, means there's always something going on.

I’ve had that ring for about three years now. I’ve been skeptical on painting it. Can you give me any tips on what you did to prime it. That’s what I’m afraid of messing up on is the MDF taking too much. Great to see rumble slam brought to the channel

To prime it I just used a can of Grey Seer and then some official stencils although I messed them up a bit.

One thing that's driving me nuts is how arbitrary the bases are on the minis. Some have circles. Some have squares. I thought it may be based on Affiliations, but the Orc has a square while the rest of his team have circles. It's not size-based, as both Werewolf and the Rock Guy are 4-square, but Werewolf has a circle base and the other has a square base. Edit: I'm also noticing that there's no way to mark which wrestler has gone in a round, nor their HP, in the ring where both players could see it. That's basically a staple of mini-gaming, to prevent cheating.

Since the bases thing has been explained let me answer the other part of your comment. They sell tokens that can serve to both mark the hp on your wrestlers as well as some status effects and if they have already acted. The player cards stay on the table and are available to any player so they are public knowledge which means the tokens on those cards will also be public so chetaing is prevented. Another even better and easier way we use for that is just sleeve your wrestler cards in clear sleeves and use dry-erase markers to mark of the HP from their health bar and to write effects they may have(bleed, plus AP etc). It literally just requires a few clear sleeves and a marker. Cheap and effective although I must admit the tokens are a bit easier to register from distance so if the players are a fair distance away from each other tokens might remove the need to ask to see the wrestler card of opposing players just to make sure you're seeing everything written with the marker on it. Oh and if not using tokesn to show a wrestler has already activated we just flip its card horizontally(or if you play card games we tap it). So next round you just turn them back normally and tap the cards when the wrestler finishes his activation.
