Prayer won't do a damn thing. But you kno what will? Donating to and volunteering for organizations that help North Koreans, like Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), flash drives for freedom, and plenty of others.
@Swazoo7 ай бұрын
@in00n nah who donated and volunteered in other countries to free my people in America? We have to stop interfering in other countries problems just because the ones we help will let us build a military base on their land. These people in these countries have probably been fighting since the hunter gatherer age. And here comes the west thinking they can interfere. But the east is kinda done. Especially after the west supported Ukraine. We need to mind our business. You cannot police the world.
@dgtwo37247 ай бұрын
@@in00nWe always hear people say prayer won't do anything as they criticize those who pray for someone. At the same time, these same people who are critical of others praying for someone seem to have no issue with someone saying their thoughts are with someone going through difficulties. Based on the anti-prayer logic, do thoughts help or do any more good than prayers? Or, do people criticize others who offer prayers simply because they hate people who believe in a higher power?
@iaindcosta7 ай бұрын
Funny thing is, people who claim prayer doesn't do anything never cite any study showing this objectively. The only study I heard of actually did show that people who were being prayed for recovered better, but the people doing the study refused to release the figures showing difference between different gods. Furthermore, even from a materialistic point of view, if you are praying for someone or something, you are engaging with the subject, sharing, devoting time to it, this has got to he the first stage in doing something or influencing others to do something

This is crazy! Get this: The national flower of South Korea is the Rose of Sharon. In song of songs the Rose of Sharon along with the Lily of the Valley represents the reunification of the bride and the groom. In context of the biblical narrative it shows Jesus reunifying with his bride as well as heaven and earth's reunification. For korans specifically, the Rose of Sharon represents the hope of reunification of the North and South--and on a deeper level, families reunifying their kin who were separated by the boarders.

It reminded me in a needed moment of just how much privileged I am here in America, especially as a Christian. These North Korean believers would give anything for the religious freedom I have; yet often times than not, I get so stuck in my own ways about how Christians are treated here in America. God bless this woman. The perception of North Korean dictators is often one of sadness and despair behind closed doors, with any displayed happiness and grandeur serving merely as a façade. This masks a disdain for humanity and a desire for revenge stemming from prejudices encountered during their youth. Their inability to move past these experiences blinds them to the truth, as they seek power to shape society according to their vision. However, the notation of purifying society through violence is unacceptable. While society is far from perfect, purifying society with violence will never be the way to go.

The sad part is I've seen dozens of these videos over the years and have been to SK, the DMZ and even met some NKs in Seoul and yet it's 2024 and I see nothing changing. Only getting worse. Teens being executed for interest in music and shows, malnutrition, jails overflowing, govt higher ups disappearing and worse. Nice video as were the others but it all feels pointless as nothing effective is being done. What needs to be done no one will do..

I don't see what the big deal about Christians in NK is. Don't get me wrong, religious persecution is just plain awful. But Christians in NK are not treated any other way from any other religion in that country. Surely the Korean people had their own religion/s for hundreds of years, before Christian missionaries imported their belief to the country fairly recently. Shouldn't we rather deplore the lack of freedom to pursue ANY religion, rather than only Christianity??? Seems horribly one-sided to me. As if other religions mattered less than the Christian one.

Please consider removing the flashing effects that are throughout your video. As a migraine sufferer, I am unable to watch because of these and they are not necessary to the point of your video. People with epilepsy may also be triggered by these effects. Thank you!

It's hard to follow what is said in the video because of the hallucinating music and sounds on the background.

She confessed that God is someone who doesn't have humanistic needs, like eating, sleeping etc. Then why Christians still calls Prophet Jesus as God?
