Wow the same thing happened at the church I attend a few weeks ago. The Pastor didn't even plan for the revival service. It was spontaneous and the Pastor didn't even get to preach his sermon. Everyone just started coming to the front and confessing their sins and praying for each other and worshipping. It ended up being a service of repentance. And then my Pastor decided to have another service the very next day on Monday night and it was a packed church like the day before.
