Please could you please explain why Vifly removed the 0.2A current option on the V3? I have a LOT of 1S 200mah that I wanted to charge at 1C (0.2A) and now I can't and because the minimum is 0.3A. I even have many 1S 150mah and now I am forced to charge them at 2C with the V3. Bad idea to remove the 0.2 if you ask me because this is a charger for 1S batteries and 0.2 is a very good healthy charging current if you are not in a rush.

I imagine the data collected from people most likely to purchase the charger run 300mah packs.. I'm not exactly sure why they did that, I personally charge my whoop packs at 2C. I also charge them to 4.35v.. I wonder if you where to contact their support, if they could send you a custom file to run 0.2a?

V3 is very good. But i have big problem. I see discharge voltage protect is 3.5v/cell on input port. I use Lion battery for supply power. Lion battery can discharge to 2.6vol. But the charger shutoff when voltage is 3.5vol/cell. Please help me setting on this case. Thank you so much

You have a very good question here. I haven't used a Li-on field pack, nor have I known anyone doing so. The Whoopstor is supposed to auto detect what type of supply is incoming. However, I believe it's not going to determine Li-on, therefore, this is a question for Vifly's tech support ( [e-mail] )... I wish I could help...🍻

I have one that looks like the one that looks like the 3 on the right in beginning of your video. Their website has this same looking to the detail that I have and is labeled as V2 on the site, neither the one on their site or mine has a v2 on it. was there ever a v1? don't want to upgrade mine to v2 fw if it is a v1, how can I be sure?

Tried updating, but betaflight didn't recognize the charger. Is it sbus 😫 also how do I charge my 8s lipos with it do I need an extension cable 🤔

Just got one and when I plug it with the given power cord it gives me an error message about connect a device that supports the fast charge protocol and is very.14. What do I need to do the fix this

@@PropsOff the very.14 I guess is the Software version on the charger. I use the USB-C plug came with the charger. I have also tried other USB-C chargers and still getting the same error message.

@@ME-pb3lb Is the output of your usb-c 9v or 12v? Also, a user mentioned this.... "The 40W requirement on startup is an insanely restrictive requirement when, during a 1C charge of 6 normal 300mAh batteries, it only draws a max of 7.5W (measured, not calculated). It is an unnecessary block to being able to charge over USB on a standard portable usb battery bank.".. Does this help?

@@PropsOff Not at this time. Thanks to watching a couple of your videos, I think I’m beginning to understand a bit better. I have some small Eflite planes that use 1s 1.25jst connectors. My goal was to discharge them to storage if for some reason (wind) I didn’t get to use them. I made up a couple 2.0 to 1.25 adapters, and they appear to be working. I think the Vyfly is a great little product, and look forward to using it to its fullest potential. Thanks for your reply. Wishing you future success. 👍🏻

Hi, i've just got my Vifly charger, it already got 1.13 udpate, but i was wondering what is the safe Current range for charging Betafpv BT2.0 450mAh and 550mAh batteries? I want to optimise this but dont want to damage the batteries doing so.

0.45 & 0.55 amps respectfully. I charge my 300mah packs at 0.6 - which is 2C.. The thing to consider is the power supply too. You don't want to overload your power supply. Because this charger has individual ports, you can charge up to 1.3 amps per port.. You'll just add each cell, multiply that by 4.2, and that's how many Watt power supply you will at least, minimum, need to run its maximum..

It really is amazing. I've been charging 1S lipos for a very long time (2012) and it's a far cry better than anything I've ever purchased or made myself.. I appreciate your feedback and support...🍻
