I don't know if anyone else is gonna agree with me but the Hot Rod Tsunami is 200% a downgrade. The base Tsunami with all the upgrade parts looks so much cooler. That's one thing I wish this game had done, let you swap between the chassis in case you like the base model with the upgrade parts over the hot rod version.

agreed. Its straight up a Lobster. In fact most of the upgrades aren't better visually. John Torques goes from a muscle car to like way too much shit on the car. Vertigo goes from like a decent knockoff Delorean to a car from Rush 2049 or something.

@@GoodnightwithGlomstad The only hot rods that I'd say I prefer to the base cars would be the Palomino XIII, the Samson Tow Truck and the Marathon. Otherwise it's either different but not worse or over-designed into a downgrade.

that's easy ,you just had to loose in one game, then you'll loose one of the upgrade and each game never pick up any upgrade, then it'll be the semi upgrade form

Is usually use Gameshark to make the vehicle can't upgrade to MAX so it won't change the visuals. I like some of the stock cars like Thunderbolt, Tsunami, Boogie, Moon Trekker, Grubb Dual Loader, and Vertigo.

It would have been cool if they'd included an option to toggle the base car with upgrades or the hot rod. I usually just ignore the Max Speed stat since it's so hard to get those anyway.

Upgraded Chrono Stinger looks similar to Hot Wheels car called Sweet 16 ii, while upgraded Molo's bus looks similar to real life concept bus called GM Futureliner

Grubb and Moon trekker were also OP if you combine the special with the straight shooting rockets and the gun shooting. You could kill the smaller enemies in one special with that

Tsunami new style is horrible. Is the fastest and weakest in the game so upgrade him is difficult and you reward is a bug/thing. Vertigo new looks is lame in comparation with the original.

In this case you'll need a PSX emulator and the game's ROM if you want to give it a try. They're not difficult to find tho, there's a ton of emulators out there and you can find the game just by searching "vigilante 2nd offense psx iso" on Google
