A vigilante is basically a hero who saves people in a manner a hero normally wouldn’t do. Or, their heroes who are saving people, but doing crimes while doing so. Such as killing the villain (murder).

Basically a vigilante isnt on either side but they're not a civilian so for example Stain the Hero killer he help Deku but injured Ida so he's not on either side but he's not a civilian
