Northumbria, you need to correct yourself. There is no "killer" here. There's a thief that got hit with consequences. You guys wrongfully jailed. Pathetic. The only thing the vigilante should be sentenced with is speeding and being reckless. No murder took place. It's not his fault that the thief stole his bike, it's his fault he sped and drove irresponsibly, but there was no "murder". It's not his fault the bike thief decided to go above the law and steal something and just happened to suffer consequences from it. No theft, no problem. Grow up, Northumbria. Simply re-acquiring your own property is not a crime of murder.

I see on the Northumbrian Facebook page they describe Mihai Dinisoae as a “vigilante killer” - not as a victim of a crime. VFurther in the article he is described as “the thug”. The only time his name is used - in full - is to refer to his 10 year sentence. However the guy who was one of the thieves is given his name as MR Malloy, a term of respect. Why was it necessary to describe MR Dinisoae as the Romanian national? What has his nationality got to do with anything? At no point in this article do we get the name of the other “thief”. Twice in this article, the journalist expresses the feelings of the police “we welcome the lengthy sentence...” plus makes a judgment saying they were in no double that he “had completely lost control of his emotions and intent on chasing down his victims”. As much as I hated what actually happened and that the thief was killed and his partner was seriously injured, nowhere does it state that this began with them. Also I saw the high speed chase and there was NOBODY else on the roads. I just felt this article was one sided because sadly Mr Malloy was killed but nowhere does it point out that this might not have been the case had they not stolen the motorbike in the first place. Also does “the Romanian national” have a family and if so, what about THEIR suffering, possibly depriving them of a breadwinner. We are not told any of this.
@BIBIWCICC3 жыл бұрын
Blame lies solely at the feet of the Police. If they actually investigated bike theft then the public wouldn’t have to do this. There isn’t a biker out there who wouldn’t have done the same. The driver a) is not a 'thug'. He was convicted of manslaughter, not murder, and b) quite frankly should not have been convicted of that. He was wanting to stop these two scumbags from getting away with something he'd worked hard to buy. If you did your jobs properly, instead of closing down pub lockins, zealously pursuing motorists, and chastising people on social media for 'offensive' posts, people would not need to take the law into their own hands to seek justice. And this was justice. I have no sympathy for the thieving scumbag whatsoever. If this happened more often, we hadn't have the staggeringl level of motorcycle theft in the UK.

The guy in the car got 10yrs prison apparently while the other guy received a death sentence for THEFT!! Ten years for murder!! I don't condone bike theft ( I hate it, I'm also a bike owner), I'Ve ridden bikes my whole life so I know that getting rammed from behind by a speeding car the chances of surviving that kind of impact are very very slim. The owner of the bike also knew this when he decided to use his car as a weapon! He knew what he was doing and tbh the way he was driving to hunt down the bike thief (speeding, dangerous overtakes, driving on the wrong side of the road and going the wrong way around a roundabout) it's a miracle he didn't kill anyone else. As far as I'm concerned he should've been charged with murder (among many lesser charges ) and given life in prison. Was it really worth it for a fuckin bike FFS, and to all you morons who think someone deserves to lose they're life for nicking a bike grow the fuck up, seriously wtf is wrong with you????? THE MAN DIED.....he had a mother, brother, sisters, yes he did wrong he stole something, he didn't murder, rape or molest a child, He didn't deserve to die and his family and friends don't deserve your hateful and frankly childish comments. Honestly I was quite shocked to read a lot of the comments here. I wonder what is wrong with a society that thinks that this is justified. We judge places like Saudi Arabia as barbaric, yet they only cut off a thief's hand when he is caught stealing, they don't KILL him!!
