2:50 always thought it was kinda cool that they had Tartarus open and close once he fell through. Most ppl don't know or understand that to be sent to "the pit of Tartarus" was so much worse than being sent to the underworld bcz the Tartarus was more than a place. Tartarus is a being. To be sent to his pit and fall into his digestive track was a torture that scared even titans. And although GOW doesn't do the best with telling the difference between primordial titans, titans, and gods. To sum it up quickly. The gods only won bcz a few titans betrayed their siblings and joined their side. Even then Zeus was almost killed a couple of times during the war between the gods and titans which took, a decade in itself. Titans are where gods got many of their powers from. They were the essences. Example: Hades, the Lord of Death. Thanatos, Death. Posiedon, the lord of the sea. Oceanus, the Sea. There were titans that were so feared, neither titan nor god even asked them to help during the war. Yet all feared one being probably the most. Tartarus. And they craziest part is he was that feared before many of them really even knew what he was. They knew he existed and they knew they didn't want no parts of him. There are ways to escape the underworld, though they are few. There are even fewer ways to escape Tartarus. So the Labrynth's creator had beyond fair reason to scream the way he did. The pit of Tartarus is worse than the underworld bcz Hades wasn't really a mean god. He was actually the nicest of them though he ruled with an iron fist, he could be persuaded to let one return to life up top. Tartarus is equivalent to what Christians say Hell is like. No death. Endless suffering. The type of suffering Pinhead would scream in until he loses he voice, with the sound of his screaming only ceasing bcz his voice can't produce the sound, but still screaming silently in the utmost agony nonetheless. So this part always gives me mad goosebumps bcz ...man, they did this part justice and the actor captured what one would sound like realizing they're approaching the lips, falling into the mouth, and down into the pit of Tartarus
