Vigor could corner the market with this game. Haven't come upon a similar game with the same concept. They had a great foundation for this game. There was so many signs leading up to this point. They tend to screw with things that shouldn't be touched. If it aint broke don't fix it. Apparently, no one ever told them this growing up so they kept messing with it. LOL. If I had the money I'd buy this game from the Devs and make it for what its worth. What a sad, sad sign. Thank you for everything Tiny.

As a Partner we can't always share everything we know or we get given time frames before we can, but I do feel that the Devs themselves don't help the situation sometimes. The bigger issue with the Halloween changes was the removal of all the fertilizer from all the maps. This is always the problem with the Devs at Vigor, they never do anything at all to benefit the players, only punish them. So their idea of a "fun" Halloween event is to make everything dark, add a bunch of non-functional pumpkins, add a bunch of random noises to make it harder to play, and remove the resources people need to collect to advance. To add insult to injury, many players were given a "collect 300 fertilizer" daily immediately after all fertilizer was removed from all maps. Either the devs were deliberately trying to get people to quit, or they are so profoundly stupid as to not realize that removing fertilizer and asking people to collect it is going to piss people off. All of this stems from the core problem that the devs do not play the game. They think they play, but they don't. They create accounts, then they gift themselves resources and weapons rather than doing the actual grind it takes to get them. So they don't realize how their changes affect the average player. For them, there is no need to collect fertilizer, so why should anyone care if they remove it? Similarly, this new "donation" system. Previously 10k food got you 5 crates (15 items). Now 10k gets you 1 create (3 items) and 20k gets you 1 crate with 1 item. They _claim_ that this item can be a plan, a ticket, a skin, etc. However, we all know the vast majority of players will only get tickets. 20k donation for 1 unlock ticket is NOT what the players want.

Firstly thanks for you comment and honesty I knew there were issues with loot, but didn't know it was fertilizer only. Interesting. I like the Halloween update as it has evolved over the years, but the constant darkness gets too much. Your comment makes me wonder why we don't loot the pumpkins for fertilizer in the Encounters as this would make it fun. This new Donation Hub - you are right? I have been sharing as much as I can on our discord about the figures. You will have to donate over 1.2K % MORE food to get 1 Special Issue crate or over 1.7k % MORE to get a Donation crate with will give you a chance at a plan, 2 Special Issue crates OR 2 Booster Tickets. This is a major nerf in my opinion and I feel others will feel it too when they try it. With this and no console crossplay until January 2025 and the announcement that Switch will not continue in the future.... It's hard to be positive right now

@@TinyOnline I completely misunderstood the donation system. I thought it was 20k food for 1 donation crate. It's 20k food for 1 common crate. So, 6 months of grinding to build food collectors, check in 2x a day for a week. Give them 20k food for a white box which contains ~ 300 food. I'm done playing until they repeal this. If they don't, it's time to move on to another game. This is beyond insulting, this is absolutely abusive.

Myself and other Partners have warned the Devs that the Donation Hub will not be received well and they are will need to see data over a few weeks and look out for feedback from the community on it. So please use your socials to share this feedback too. I feel that it may take a few weeks for everyone to realise how much of a change it is and how high the difference is too. I understand that no one likes change, but I have to admit that I don't understand THIS change. The only thing to gain from it is plans for free (which you got before as you could get plans from the crates anyway), but if you have all the plans, then its not worth it. Also, what is the point in new players getting the plans if they don't max out their shelters/ get their crafting table up. New players will have to chose if they donate their resources or use them for their shelter improvements.

The PC release was a huge mistake and released to early and the lack of testing before releasing updates makes me angry, how they are destroying this unique game. I already fear the mess they will make next week when they release "crossplay"... Im sure the poor little hamster wont survive it

Got to say as an EX-VIGOR PARTNER, one of the reasons I left the partnership was because all the promises made about the game and then all the issues that came to light. This game was a great game for me, but unfortunately with all the bugs and issues it just sank from the love of my heart and now I haven't played the game properly in about 8 months. Season after season of being told things will be done then destroying it. I really do hope they can bring it back but it's going downhill... Quickly.

​@TinyOnline what's happen to this game this new season makes it even worse. The new "Gratitude" system is an epic fail. 1 Crate for 200,000 Gratitude points is a game killer for me. I relied on the weekly crates for builds, weapons, resources and consumables. Yet they have stated they see nothing wrong with it.

Thanks for your comment and many of us have felt this too I think there is an issue that the build they use to set things up is not the same as the live build. There are many layers to the game and when they fix or change one thing, it seems to affect so many other things. I wish I had the answer

Me n a buddy found Vigor for free on the PS5 abt a yr ago. We Loved playing it. Then I heard it was coming to pc and I was super excited to try it. Then realize at launch they didnt even add coop so you had to play solo only for months. We never ended up playing it on pc. Wish it would have released with coop. Now Im just into a dif game.

DayZ has been around for 10 years and Vigor for over 5 year if you go from release. I used to play DayZ with my friends, so when Dizzy found Vigor, he told me that it was made by the same game studio as DayZ, so I had to give it a shot. From my own experience the devs ignored constructive criticisms from their most loyal players so far. They ask people to post their experiences with bugs in their official Facebook group but when I've done so the devs have never even replied to me.

All I could say about this, is that the team have lost 2 CMs, so this means that communication with the Community may be affected, as there is not enough time in the day to do 3 peoples tasks. @TinyOnline I commented on a post this season specifically asking for sound bugs they can fix. I told them there is music that plays when you start an encounter on the new map even if you have the music turned off. They never replied and the bug is still there to my knowledge.

💯 with you. I have virtually stopped playing. As one of the main reasons I stopped was the new "Gratitude" system. I needed the crates to stay competitive. But now that's all but gone. There ain't much to play for.

For years, I've been exploring the game for as long as I can remember, but now there's a bug that doesn't allow me to enter the game, it always crashes every time I try to log in, but it still doesn't work, I find it comforting that there's a community aware of these problems and they address it. Thank you. Edit: If Vigor ends, this is going to be irrecoverably bad, not just for Bohemia Interactive, but for the whole community of Outlanders and Scavengers. I am one of them.

To be honost, i Don't know why snodekt has open exits anyway...its the same map so i made sense withe the locked exits. Map after death helps alot against teamers 👍. And If Servers are running,i will even Play Vigor without battlepasses ...

Thanks for your comment and honesty. I like that you will play the game regardless (Are you the number 1 die hard fan?) You say about the locked exits. Locked exits were not part of the game to start with, they have come in over time. Also the fact of having them in is not the issue, it is the communication from the Devs confirming that they were known issues and then taking them out, then bringing them back again. They just needed to be like - this is change! Outlanders like transparency and this goes a long way. Like I said in the video, if the Devs told the community that PC was on the table, then they would have been happy - it didn't need to come out the next season, they would have just been happy with knowing it was on the cards, even it was going to take years to come. I'm glad you are still positive about it and feel you are confident it is going no where?

I still enjoy vigor. Definitely don't play it as much as I used to. It also doesn't help that people are complaining about the game everywhere I look. Honestly, I just want to have fun. With this new season, I lost a bunch of my friends that I used to play with. Mostly due to the stamina being nerfed, no crosshair, and having to hold buttons for interactions. At the end of the day, I will be here till the wheels fall off.

Great video (as always) Tiny. Thanks for your honesty in assessing the situation. I don't know that the game will die in a spectacular explosive fashion, as long as some people are drip feeding in money it will probably limp along - I'll certainly keep trying to ride this over-flogged horse for a while yet. One additional factor I would add in is that this has been an abysmal year for game studios in general - there was an excellent article about it in the 30 October edition of the Pushing Buttons gaming newsletter on The Guardian, worth a read for some context in terms of the wider game development sphere. Without changes to the dev team though, a slow death does feel inevitable. If they could pump in some more human resource, perhaps spend one season on just working on fixes (would the player base tolerate that?) rather than new content, and try to be more actively engaged with community (even if they do it "second-hand" through Discord mods and Partners) then I think it could keep marching on. It would be an absolute shame to lose this game, there's nothing else like it on Console and I hope they keep working on those unique aspects rather than making it more like the tacky Battle Royale games that so many people seem to want to play. Appreciate you, Dizzy, Riley and the community you have built alongside this game, and glad that you'll hopefully keep on keeping on, hopefully with vigour, even if not with Vigor.

Personally I liked the locked exits, they gave the game more of an edge. I understand though that new players would be at a disadvantage not knowing what opened which exit.

Thanks for your comment and I agree. The idea is cool and I like that they have rotated them this new season, to keep the veterans on their toes. I keep forgetting to check them though, but hoping for some feedback on that side soon. I don't want all the exits to be locked as there was always a clear distinction between this and a Battle Royale, as you can leave at any point - if all the exits are locked, then it is borderline a BR.

With the Xmas update dropping today and then causing the PlayStation players to crash, they have removed it again - but they are working on a fix - fingers crossed that Xmas is not cancelled as I love the snowball mode

That's awesome news I think some other Partners have covered the S21 update, which should say about the bleeding effect. I showed it on stream on Tuesday with my husband and fellow Vigor Partner Dizzy as we used the Preview Elimination mode to show how Crossbows cause it and how bandages stop the bleeding. Been a supporter of Vigor since day 1. The original dev team did a fantastic job. Feels like it all started to go down hill when Pettka left. It's been miss after miss ever since. Not touch it on xbox or pc since it's steam launched. I don't think they can do anything to bring me back.

It would be interesting to see what the current stats of players in the game are at. As i would image it is dropping again. The devs need to listen and communicate with the community. I have seen good suggestions from people in the community that get totally ignored. Absolutely nobody would have suggested the new "Gratitude" system. Its like they are trying to kill the game off.

@@TinyOnline tbh I bought the battle pass cuz it was sick I liked the first tier and the 45 ones but for gameplay there's new bugs that happened to me which are new and annoying that when u pick up gun then u wanna switch to the other it will automatically repeat and switch back to the gun I picked up like loop and also the game was very unstable with wifi MS . I'll give solid 7/10

@@OSH-LaYzer The Devs are aware of the gun switch bug and are working on a fix, but no ETA yet. A few work arounds that may help though - try holstering your weapon and then try it, or loot something near you like a wire box. There have been many bugs and issues reported, that I'm struggling to keep up.

IMO vigor went downhill when they simply slowed the game down. Sprint reload got removed, okay cool because new players dont know how to do it. Then they removed the setting (performance mode) no idea why. Then they removed the ability to regain stamina while moving. They messed with the guns, they messed with the bugle, removed crosshairs for the rifles.

As much as I enjoyed my time in Vigor (honestly more just getting to know you, Diz, and your awesome community) I just don't care about it anymore. I didn't even make it a year, although hearing you talk about it may have been the worst year to try haha. I still can't believe they devoted resources to a PC version and ignored the console playerbase. PC has so many games similar to vigor that are already established or depending on opinion just better that it has baffled me from the first time I heard it. I may circle back to vigor at some point, but for now it is uninstalled as it felt like less and less fun everytime I turned it on. I will always be happy I tried it though cause I met you all though so that's nice.

If you enjoy extraction, try arena breakout infinite or delta force. Both are the best extraction shooters on the market currently. Tark is a decade old beta with outdated textures and optimization. ABI or Delta could replace Vigor for you if it truly does die and there is more hype around those games right now as well since theyre much newer than vigor. Only thing is, they are first person.

Thanks you for the comment I have heard of those games and believe that Delta Force came out recently on Xbox, so may have to investigate that. I'm normally one to let others try the new games out first and then see if they are full of bugs and if they get past a few months. I get frustrated installing a game and then my friends getting bored easily, so if they are still interested after a bit, I try it out. Just now I have installed Marvel Rivals as a community member knows I like Overwatch and a few other friends have tried it too. Thank you for your advice

Vigor has way too many issues to fix. The weapon balance has become a joke, rifles with no cross hairs and white weapons which have more expensive ammo than gold weapons. The amount of XP needed to get from level 49 to 50 used to be about 83,000 and now it's over 200,000. I've not even finished the last few seasons as it's too much of a grind. I finished my shelter years ago as a lot of people have and there's no reason to keep playing other than to finish the season which has now become a massive chore. If they did add something to the shelter it would have to be a completely new resource otherwise you'd just use up all of the stuff you've got in the shelter now. The game needs stripping back to basics, lose the portables, armour plates and all of the other crap which doesn't exist in real life. It's no wonder new players don't stick with the game when you have teams of sweats hunting them down from the off, the games become more of a battle royale, and a lot of the sweats just leave when nobody is left to kill. The whole cheating thing was never dealt with properly, people blatantly cheating with cronus devices or running two or three other players in the same round, I know someone who used to play three xbox's at the same time. Devs would fix one bug and add two more. I could go on and on.

You should write up my next script ;) The last season and this one, I will not complete the BP for once as I refuse to level up with crowns as this is what they want us all to do - I'm not doing it anymore. Less than 2 years ago I had always finished the battle passes, even as a casual player, so it shows how much it has increased. Like you said 'I could go on and on'. @TinyOnline the whole thing has become a cash grab at this point. It's a full time job if you want to finish the battle pass without buying it. I get that people want to customise their characters but the cost of everything in the store is ridiculous, I rarely see anyone running around with the latest outfits or weapon skins. Removing the legacy seasons was another bad idea. Does the game need anymore weapons, fix what we have now before adding more. The game needs the bugs fixing, shelter upgrades and maybe a more urban map.

I used to play eliminations a lot but when the newest map came out and the weapon over haul happened it felt like they tried to improve encounters but practically ruined it for eliminations I really liked this game I put effort and money into it but now I look back and I see that it was all really worthless

It will be upsetting for me if the vigor actually dies. I usually ignore people when they say a game is dead because it’s not in the main stream of casual players attention. In this case even the cult player base is leaving. I will keep playing till the end and then i guess I’ll play DayZ or hunt showdown

The console crossplay is due to come this season (they are expecting January 2025). I know that alot of players are disappointed that it didn't drop with the new season and I feel that this information should have been shared when the concept was shared in the first place. Speaking from an old console player & PC player, Vigor just feels abandoned. The discord mods barring Tobias are absent at best, draconian and opaque at worst. The game is barely populated because of mostly cheaters which the devs just seem to not care about? It's been an abysmal launch, and the dev team hand-waving away concerns with content and cheaters with pleasantries and borderline lies, frankly, I hope the game dies. The way the PC launch has gone, and the devs tone and attitude towards the (at least PC) playerbase deserves nothing less than massive failure as far as I'm concerned.

If there was a massive cultural shift in the dev team about interacting with the playerbase, cleaning up the cheating situation on PC, and actually engaging with the community, yeah, I can see it getting a second wind. People seldom change though, so I feel it's a case of shitting in one hand and hoping for change in the other, and I'm sure we both know which is going to fill up faster. As to the failure, I think the dev team is simply reaping what they've sown. Bringing Tobias on was the one good call I've seen the devs make. Forsythia was god awful at her role, as is the other mod I saw in the discord (some furry from germany is all I recall), past that, seldom little communication for the PC playerbase, and constant, bordering on comical, fuck-ups & following radio silence from the devs since the released into CBT/Paid Beta.

@ Not really noticed too many bugs yet. Got stuck one time at the Fiske fabrikk map, but that was last season. We Enjoy the mode, as for the game. We mostly started to play because it’s set in Norway, and we are Norwegians. I used to play it on PlayStation, not to fond of the controllers for it, works great on PC, expect the occasional hacker/cheaters

The loadout are horrible. People getting kicked when people use taiga. Server are horrible. There so many clips people shooting people n not registering. Audio is horrible. Ping is all over place over game to game. Cheater are horrible

Thanks for you comment and your English is fine It is embarrassing to see the Devs play the game live on the streams and it doesn't help that they don't wear the headset either - 1st rule of Vigor - have a good headset I understand that they don't have to play the game to create it, but it helps with bugs and seeing what the community see. There have been loads of community ideas bought into the game over the years, which I think is great, but I think you trying to say that - the devs use the ideas of the community rather than coming up with their own ideas - maybe You are right, no one asked for a knife, but we have been asking for years for an axe!

Oh, so now people can talk about what many have already said and have been combated by fanboidom all the way. Incompetence and ignorance to any constructive criticism is what springs to mind about the dev team of Vigor. With Every dev dairy deflecting any real input to try to give the game life and just pandering to will you add moustaches and more pants and shirts(sarcasm but not far from the truth). The game has lacked content fullstop with a circle of death revolving around mechanics being implemented and making the game more frustrating to play along with what just seem like broken promises. I criticised this game through frustration of seeing the potential that this game could be something great, but it's just been squashed by devs that dare to dream or listen, it seems. Unless they've had their hands tied by higher-ups, then I apologise. But again, this is where transparency to the player base would of helped. I would have played money for more interesting content p.o.i's and activities, or different game modes in Vigot, but now it's this far down the track with more games out there that have better things and replayability for myself I've moved on. I wish you guys(vigor and the players) good luck, and I hope all your games are good ones✌️

Consumable from store in ps4/5 also was it missing for weeks before to get fix it. And fuck yes, the amount XP need to be changes, even having the season pass i leaves the season about that. Lvl 36 I dont really like this game bc i hate the gameplay, i mean the 3° person shooter online games have it a bad gameplay, is like, the players thanks to the 3° person view have to be behing a cobert, kissing walls, trees, and rocks for even minutes after someone have balls to end with that. I play bc is the only one extration shooter in console.

Yes you are right. I believe on S20 release the Consumable Plans were not on any platform in store and then PC was fixed very quickly, with a few weeks later the PS side was fixed too. Xbox and Switch have had all season without the Consumable Plans, relying on the Feature Store rotation to full fill the demand. I am hearing more everyday confirming that they aren't completing the Pass this season and I don't think I've ever heard anything positive about the high XP yet. Vigor has always been 3rd person and I've got used to it, but I do understand that there is a demand for 1st person. Thank you for your comment and time

i knew pc was going to fail when they banned me for telling people not to buy the pc alpha because 3 days in it was RAAAAAAAMPANT with rage hackers and exploiters . funny how they never banned my alt , and unbanned my main when the game was no longer 20 dollars. over 100 people told me they would not buy the game after talking to me. 20 x 100 is 2k usd , they did not like me messing with thier money .i have NEVER EVER EVER been banned on a video game, other thna this one. this team is lazy and corrupt

To put it simply, this game is a dumpster fire, while it is fun to watch occassionaly, it gets boring fast. 1. Changing the donation from food to everything and then only giving you 1 crate has been fast tracked into The Bonehead Hall of Shame. Calling it gratitude is like make fun of someone with special needs. 2. With the shrinking playerbase it is obvious that your enemy player has an advantage over you because of lag. Its not just everyone having a cronus, it is the devs thinking this game could be international when that is so not the case. I mean having a ping of 120ms to fight players half a world away from you and getting actual hit detection is better than having the occasional 35 to 40ms ping and dumping a whole 100 rounds of a 249 into someones back to not get a kill. 3. And this is a new issue, go 1st person iron sights and then switch back to 3rd and your cursor literally jumps to the side by a wide margin. I will have to award bonus xp to the team that made this only happen in encounters/elimination/shootout but not having it happen to that degree in the shooting range is just a level of programing mastery we will likely not see again. ***I know they can't region lock the servers, but at the same time they cant expect anyone to spend money on this. If this was in an 80's arcade the owner wouldnt ever have to empty the quarters out of it because nobody would play it.

Thanks for your message. I can say now, as it's just after the Dev stream, where they confirmed this. Console Crossplay is due in Season 21, but will not start immediately! They plan for it to be active in January 2025, but it depends on the technical side.
