HOW TO FIND THE CAREER GOD WANTS + TESTIMONY

One of my biggest questions is always, “God, what do You want me to do?” In this video I’m sharing valuable lessons I’ve learnt over the past decade - working backwards from choosing a line of work to a college course, and all the seemingly vague steps in between. I’ve had so much confusion because the path was narrow and the evidence unusual, so I hope my testimony so far helps if you’re in a similar position. No matter what position though, a child of God needs to focus on a few basic things which I’ve tried to convey in this video, “How to find the career God wants (for me) + testimony”. God bless!

This was so helpful and encouraging! My story is so much like yours almost to a T, but of course we are also unique people, except I have only made 1 KZbin video because I am very camera shy and I need courage and that passion and drive back to share my voice... I had countless experiences of my family, friends, piers, almost everyone, and on and on of people beating me down... Ive literally had to walk away from them all in order to follow the path to sing for God that he has called me to, but I've still struggled with fear of experiencing more hurt and loss, and I've just been trying to heal from all the cruelty so I can have some confidence and get back up again. Things would have been so different if family and friends hadn't been so jealous and cruel, and it broke my heart because all I wanted was to be a blessing to them... but now I am supposed to bless God and bless strangers who probably will never be ones to give me a hug or love me like a family would have. God bless you and thank you! I wish I had half of that sparkle you do these days, but I still feel so broken hearted even after 10+ years. But I know this is God's calling and purpose on my life too, so I have fought so very hard to keep it alive.

My family was in debt.. 2019 I was in Hostel (12th), as there was no fellowship there, God stirred my heart to start a home fellowship every night at home when I came for holidays. One fine day, my mom called - she said that last night during home fellowship we prayed to God telling him that we need this much money. And guess what, the next day, the exact amout was transferred to our account anonymously. We tried to find out who and if it was a mistake or something. But no one showed up. Truly, there is no lack. We have all that we can ever wish for. Because we have God. Jesus is enough

1- I once dreamt about a friend who asked me and a group of Christian women for wisdom on which career she should pursue. She wanted to do like 3-5 different things and we told her in unison that she *could* do *all* of them. Turned out in real life she had been fasting and praying about this very thing! 2- I feel like I could do any job or career and be full of joy because the true joy is serving JESUS- *wherever* you are! 3- If you CAN do what you love and also make a living from it- go for it! 4- There is also something to be said about good ol' fashion hard work and being content wherever the Lord has you currently!

God told me to go on a secular music fast without a specific time (40 days, 12 days etc). My first attempt was pitiful but God called me to try again. The second attempt, I felt His Spirit strongly during those days and grew a bunch spiritually and your and other Christians's videos on secular music fasts and their experiences helped a lot. Yesterday, I was watching a Disney movie and there was ofc, secular music. I then felt a voice, which I think was my own tell me the fast was over (keep in mind, I had messed up and listened to other secular songs without making a conscious effort to listen to secular songs for example, ads and stuff). My flesh was also so hungry for secular music. I was unsure if God was upset with me for listening to secular music and that's why He ended my fast or if I was really done, so I asked God yesterday and today if I was done. Today, I felt the Spirit in this video that kept being recommended to me even when you were live. God's presence told me I am not on the fast anymore. From now on, it is a lifestyle.

Loved this video Vihan. I lost my job twice. It shocked and embarassed me at that time because I was a hard worker. But now I realized it was God's plan. Today I am the catechism co ordinator in Gulf country. I pass faith to thousands of children. So I know the fulfilment you are talking about in the video. When my income stopped, Almighty God doubled my husband's income. What more I could ask for? We could also help a lot of others in need. When we work for God, He will take care of our needs, this is my testimony.

I'll be honest, the first time I saw your video pop up on my explore page, I ignored it but when I saw it again second time on the same day, I couldn't ignore It anymore and knew somehow that God wanted me to watch your video. I am glad I listened :) I am going through the same problems as you did regarding career choices. And I believe God spoke through your video " WAIT ON ME, TRUST ME. HAVE I EVER FAILED YOU?" Whaaattt this is crazy!! I have a similar testimony with my career (CS). 1st and 2nd year I was in university with only the minimum skills to start the projects God revel into my heart. After that year and a half I had to quit university to support my family and I cry to God because I couldn't see the fruit, and I just remember reading "By their fruit you will recognize them" I was just like "Why not meee!!" haha. Now in my 3rd year I get a great job without even have my title and I learning the things I just needed to start the projects!! Even I went through the journey of understanding that when we serve God it cannot be divided like full time or half time. It cannot be like serving God 12 hours and serving world 12 hours. We cannot step on 2 boats. Career choice is that weak link in us youths that creates doubt and confusion. Like God asked you to just "Worship Him", God has asked all of us to seek Him and His kingdom before anything else. Thats says it all....you can be a teacher, Banker, Musician, a corporate person ,etc and still serve God 24 hours through your lifestyle. We have so many people around us who need to hear the gospel...most of them are not in church, this should encourage us to go out and preach the Gospel. God calls people differently...but the purpose remains same always...Serve him "in season & out season", no matter what!

I listened to your forty day fast, I then thought of my career, today I have just ended a 3 day fast and I have been feeling like God wants me to write, I have always said I will someday write a book since I was 10 years.
