Shaw is an idealist at first, but later it is clear that even he does not stand above such things. He doesn´t get it, doesn´t get why it is hard for Sarah to live with not knowing if she killed someone innocent. The irony here is that Shaw thinks it´s fine anyway, but later he himself experiences how blurry the lines can get... He is quite unfeeling here... and Sarah despite her need for talk finds little comfort.

@@pthespidey5057 Orders, job but when it’s you and people close to you suddenly those things don’t matter. That’s shows how people like Shaw think. When it’s others then it’s OK, it doesn’t matter that other (Maybe innocent) people suffer but when it’s you or someone you care about then you will do anything for revenge.

​​@@pthespidey5057 True, but grief can make people do crazy shit they wouldn't normally do. Just compare this to 24. Even Tony goes full on evil during day 7 in an attempt to gain vengeance against the mastermind of Michelle's death in the beginning of day 5. And Jack even goes somewhat crazy and nearly singlehandedly starts a war with the Russians during day 8, after Renee's death. I'm not really sure how to interpret Shaw's character. I can see a lot of fans' suggestions that he was just taking advantage of the situation. But on the other hand, I can see where maybe he was just ready to move on from his wife's death and actually had genuine feelings for Sarah, but just snapped when he found out she was the one who had killed his wife. But I don't agree with the suggestion that he was manipulating Chuck and Sarah the whole time. I don't think he was ever that sneaky. And it wouldn't really have made sense for him to do this anyway, considering his only goal initially was to go after The Ring because he thought they had killed his wife, so trying to push Chuck and Sarah apart wouldn't have made much sense, at that point. Plus, he wasn't trying to get with Sarah until Chuck was already with Hannah.

I see that she starts to trust shaw more as she sees chuck is becoming more spy specially after the red test she thinks that chuck isnt special anymore and is just like others and she gets closer to shaw due to that

@Pawel she doesn't trust Shaw, she act with him like he is a confident. She doesn't have anybody to express what's in her heart after Chuck's red test. She seems alone. She love Chuck and she is afraid that he is not the same anymore. That's what she says to Chuck in episode 13.

Clearly none of you have ever had to stand back and watch the person you love become someone completely different. Its one of the hardest things in the world to watch the person you know disappear and be replaced with someone you don’t recognize. That kind of loss shakes you up. It makes you vulnerable. Sarah didn’t become a spy because she loved her country or wanted to save the world. She did it out of desperation. Her dad was in prison. She was alone. The CIA offered her somewhere to go and something to do- a way to put all her trauma into use in a positive way. So for her, watching Chuck of all people go down that same road by choice, and in part because of her- that’s obviously bringing up a lot of unresolved pain and shame for her. I hated watching her get close to Shaw. But I always understood why it was happening.

Shaw is the most manipulative pig because he wants Sarah as his own fuck doll and she is so fucking stupid that she falls for Shaw's lies.

And it gets worse in the next episode where Chuck saves Shaw from being killed because Sarah loves Shaw it's not until the end when Casey comes to her hotel room and tells her that it was he who shot the mole and not Chuck because when Chuck tries to tell her but doesn't want to tell everything to protect Casey she won't listen to him but goes back and fucks Shaw again

Shaw is a real complete scumbag he knows that Sarah loves Chuck but still he does everything to fuck her you see it very clearly in episode 11 of season 3 after Chuck's red test when he asks Sarah if she still loves Chuck and she says she doesn't anymore so Shaw was already the worst scumbag in this series when you do everything to fuck your colleague's girlfriend only scumbags do that

@tyroned114 Can't call it comedy because there's nothing comic about Sarah going to bed with Shaw after Chuck puts his whole soul into it when he tells Sarah how much he loves her in episode 2 of season 3 anyway in the first 12 episodes Sarah does everything for to kill the feelings Chuck has for her and she is the one who drives him into Hannah's arms later, then they write Hannah out of the series after Chuck has slept with her and ends it because he wants Sarah back and here the logic ends because had a woman that I had told about how much I love her and she acts like Sarah I would never travel to Paris to save her Shaw could just kill her so instead the entire CIA hunted Shaw for killing their best agent Shaw is a real complete scumbag he knows that Sarah loves Chuck but still he does everything to get to fuck her you see it very clearly in episode 11 of season 3 after Chuck's red test when he asks Sarah if she still loves Chuck and she says she doesn't anymore so Shaw was already the worst scumbag in this series when you do everything to fuck your colleague's girlfriend only scumbags do that

Sarah wants to live with her partner in the consciousness of pure intimacy, complete trust, and a life without secrets. It’s almost an impossibility, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try. This is her deepest desire; it drives her; it makes up her dreams. This is why she is so attracted to Chuck. Because he is willing to go there with her; carry her baggage so to speak. It’s also why it’s so dam important for him to guard his innocence. If he can accept her sins, she can release her shame. How can he exonerate her of her red test if he did the same thing in his own test? Sarah never cared about Shaw’s innocence. Why? She has no desire to share herself with him. It was only sex to ease the pain of losing Chuck. Later, it turned into a means to escape Chuck if he lost his innocence. There was never a future for Shaw and Sarah and deep-down Sarah knew it. That’s why five minutes after Shaw’s toast in 3×12, she was entertaining Chuck’s advances. Sarah didn’t want Chuck to be a spy. Because she thought there would be no future with him other than what she had already with other men. A life of no home, family, and friends where everything is superficial. After Chuck and Sarah got together. Sarah was still not satisfied with her relationship with Chuck. She wanted more. The interrogation scene in 3×17 was not funny, but it had a purpose. Sarah started working with Chuck, she told him what she really needed from him. She rewarded him by satisfying his every desire. Every episode after 3×17 we started seeing them get closer and closer. If you could ask Sarah’s she would say Chuck was her first boyfriend. And she would be right.

Naw Sarah wasnt cool. Chuck wasn’t cool with her killing people but still accepted her for who she was. But because he killed one person all of sudden she can’t be with him. She was so one sided. And if your having sex with someone to ease pain that’s just wrong. I don’t like woman like that. Would give themselves to someone easily but make the guy they actually like jump through hoops. And then especially when it concerns a sexual element. Stay celibate if your going to do that.
