There are few musicians who give purest form of Carnatic music, traditional, full of bhavam, sruthi and laya shuddham, yet with lots of vidwat and interesting as well all the time. Couple of them I love are Vidwan. Vijay Siva and Vidushi. Baby Sreeram. Vintage music with no unnecessary gimmicks.

What a concert - full of sastriya and sampradaya. He can traverse all the available octaves effortlessly and render the kritis with full bhava and more importantly bhakthi. Unassuming and down-to -earth, I don' t think he even thinks for a moment that he is the performer. This is the quality of a true devotee who performs for the pleasure of his Creator. Even his disciples exhibit the same quality. If he is not bestowed with Sangeetha Kalanidhi, the award itself is doing any honour to itself !!
