India fought the Kargil battle so well with out escalation . Reflection of Indian Government policy to avoid war , to avoid escalation of war but to fight only to remove the intruding Pakistani Military and India captured the intruding Pakistani Military bases along the LOC , some Pakistani Intruders retreated and many were killed but India did not escalate the conflict .

Indian celebrate every year kargil war victory day , can any body help me to understand what kind of victory they celebrate, first point5353 is still under Pak control and ur general who fought kargil war Kishan pal admits after 11 years that India lost it. So come to the reality friends. And point 5353 is most highest point on tiger hill , India after kargil war tried 3 time to retake but failed. And also tried in 2003 attempt politically also failed Pak now had constructed and concreted it as a dense and fence fort.

I am a South Indian. Why can't the Indian government let the people of Jammu and Kashmir decide through a referendum, whether or not J&K should be part of India or an independent country? Since 1947 people of J&K never really had a say on this matter. Is India scared that all states in the country will start demanding the right for self-determination which will lead to disintegration of India. If that is the reason, then india is definitely a very fragile country.

Fact is a fact.....If the government of India lets the people of Jammu and Kashmir decide through a referendum whether or Kashmir should be part of India or become an independent country, then all other states in India will most probably demand the right for self-determination. I am taking this stand because, I strongly believe that the entire South India SHOULD have become four independent countries. But the situation in south India in 1947 was quite critical that it made sense for politicians, particularly, in the Kannada and Telugu speaking regions that the south should remain part of India. The rest is history. If south India had become four separate countries in 1947, the these countries could have now become atleast half as prosperous as Singapore or Malaysia. I am sorry to say that atleast 50% of south Indians will agree with me.

Let me enlighten you with your wars history. Indian War History 1971 - With no doubt Pakistan was defeated due to our own people, not because of Indian army. Pakistani army surrendered because they found if we fight we are still killing Muslims, so they made a wise move, took the blame on their selves and volunteerly Put down the weapon on the instruction of their own General not because 3000 army made them to do so, and we gave freedom to Bangladesh to avoid further killing of own Muslims. In return for that Pakistan returned this favor to India with the hands of Sikh people without directly involving in the war, 1984 was planed by Pakistan, a simple proof of that is you know India doesn't use AK47, But the whole punjab is full of AK47, it was supplied by ISI and sikh were encouraged to kill Hindus and the result of that you can find in Indian History. 1962 by the hands of chinese 1984 by the hands of your own fellow men 1965 Pakistan made World Record 5 down in 1 minute. causalities were on both side, but the purpose Indian attacks were never gained. 1999 Indian land was returned due to American and United nation for inviting Pakistani prime minister to US and asking him to please WITHDRAW for political and peace purpose. why I capitalize the world WITHDRAW is when ever you read 1999, you will read Pakistan WITHDRAW their army, means we captured Indian land, thats y they call it withdraw. And for now and future Pakistan army is not needed any more to fight India, they are getting training for aid and relief purpose only. Next war will not be of army, So do not worry this training is not against Indians and stop worrying about it. because for India NUKE and Drones are there in stock well enough to destroy all enemies.
