I’ve had my Seax from Bearded pig forge for a while now. Spent a couple weekends camping in the woods with just this knife. It is a beastly workhouse. Chopping down small trees, processing firewood then cutting up meat, vegetables and tomatoes. An absolutely amazing knife. Still trying to get used to it hanging on my belt, but I will. Zero negative things to say about this knife. Thank you.

Your Fire Bowl is a brilliant design. Light for backpacking and because it's off the ground you don't mess up the camp sight when you leave.

I always enjoy how easily you can shove your cooking rod into the ground with absolutely no effort. In Texas, where I live, I'd have to hammer it into the ground. The ground is so dry here. Great video, Tom. You are inspiring me.

The firebowl is very interesting in comparison to hobo stoves, because it is away from the ground and may not damage the soil. I enjoy your videos. I only have one "period" add as a suggestion for the belt pouch, that is a hank of hemp or jute twine for cordage that may be need from time to time. My Seax was made by Don Weiler(RIP) from Yuma, Arizona in the USA it is one of the very few he ever made.

That’s awesome I’ve got a sword but it’s not sharp it’s only for re-enactment. I got the clothes of an Viking farmer but I want to reenact Ragnar in the future the hair and my beard isn’t so long as Ragnar so it is a long time to be like Ragnar. Hej Tom, from N.S, Canada. I recently purchased a drinking Horn and I'm having a difficult time getting that unpleasant odour that lingers within the horn. I tried washing it, and priming it with Wine but nothing seems to get rid of the smell. I was wondering if you have any tips? Love the new Viking belt kit Tom. Atb brother

Hello Tom, Nice to see you, your equipment belt is interesting, but I was also a bit amazed at how little first aid equipment you carry with you. As a Viking or as a bushcrafter, first aid equipment must always come first! In most cases we are on our own and have to be able to help ourselves in emergencies, I see your first aid kit as very much in need of improvement. Or do you want to rub chaga powder into your wound in case of a serious injury? I would like to ask you to reconsider this and to improve it. Otherwise another great video. Greetings Walter 👍🏻

I like a whiskey that’s have a smoked taste 😁👍🏻 and Balentine is having that and is not expensive … and that’s what I normally use … BUT I prefer single malt whiskey 🥃 when it’s straight from the bottle 😋

Always up for stew!!!! I made a stew today..NOT VIKING APPROVED. Sorry.....But still good..ham cubes..cabbage..sweet potato..pineapple and coconut milk..a touch of brown sugar...in the crockpot outdoors. At least it was outdoors!!! Just across the fence from the forest.
