Someone in the choir I sing in basically mentioned my voice as being "unique" to our director behind my back, and I'm unclear as to whether or not that was an insult. I don't think so...but like, what does that even mean??? :'D UPDATE: She meant it as a compliment. *dies* She's so sweet, actually

Not anything gross or whatever just like idk a peaceful moment where they call you beautiful or something. I've been listening to the Germany asmr and it's helping me sleep so well and idk i thought I'd ask if you'd consider it. Of course if you don't want to or you feel uncomfortable with the idea that's all chill no hate i just find German accents and sleepy voices hella relaxing.

Hi, I am swedish and I'm more than happy to translate! This is the first verse in Vargasången: Vargen ylar i nattens skog The wolf is howling in the forest of the night Han vill, men kan inte sova He wants to, but can not sleep Hungern river hans vargabuk The hunger is tearing his wolfy-guts Och det är kallt i hans stova And it is cold in his den Du varg, du varg kom inte hit You wolf, you wolf, do not come here Ungen min får du aldrig My kid you're never getting. I tried to make it singable in the english version, but its old swedish so its hard to find the correct words. This song brings tears to my eyes as it is very nostalgic and has a lot of meaning to a lot of us swedes. It's something my mom used to sing to me when i was scared at night. You just feel safe and protected.

I started this channel while undergoing a very rough period in my life, which I like to refer to as "The Great Mental Breakdown of 2017"...and I needed a way to sort of...keep my mind occupied on something. While I haven't had any time lately to do anything for this channel (and likely won't anymore tbh) it will still always have a special place in my heart for helping ME get through a tough period of anxiety and depression (along with lots of physical health issues I'm finally starting to get under control). So anyway, I find it absolutely wonderful that something I made solely to help myself ended up helping other people too! If anything, I think seeing all of the comments over the last year telling me how my vids helped anxiety or sleeping disorders (both of which are huge factors in my life) actually makes me more happy than anything has in the past.

I don't normally comment on stuff like this because fan tributes can often be a bit cringy, but this is genuinely fantastic. Your singing voice makes me absolutely still and your finesse at singing in all these other languages is really quite skillful. Your whole style and harmonies reminds me of these incredible celtic singers I used to listen to. There's just this haunting aspect of your voice that is absolutely mesmerizing and enthralling. I hope you don't mind song suggestions. If you're interested I have a few. Have you ever heard of a Irish movie called Song of the Sea? It's a really great and sweet movie. The main song is difficult but gorgeous (Song of the Sea/Saoirse Song/Amhrán Na Farraige in Gaelic and English) and I'd bet my bottom dollar you could pull it off flawlessly! :) Regardless Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice with everyone, will not forget it!
