I love Viking. Our first cruise was to Antarctica on an expedition ship. It was an over the top experience. Penguins, whales, orcas, and more. The lectures were wonderful. Enrichment lectures which added to the experience. No crazy shows just nice music.Even a planetarium. There a curated library geared to the places you visit.

Love Viking! Did a three week cruise just months before Covid hit... leaving for a 12 day in less than a month. Just wish it were less expensive for solo travelers. :(

Love Viking! We done the Ocean tour from Stockholm to Bergen (Norway), we also did a while ago the River tour from Amsterdam to Bucarest, next year we booked the Mediterraneo tour from Barcelona to Istambul (can't wait)... the service and the food are wonderful. Cheers from New Orleans. USA.

I do worry if Viking is financially overextending itself. They’ve accumulated 9 ships in 8 years and have another 8 ships planned for the next 5 years (Ocean only - it’s more if you count River and Expedition). I know they will not be doing this rapid expansion without a ridiculous amount of planning and financial backing from somewhere but I’m sure many of us remember the disastrous overextension that Crystal experienced when Genting took over and I’m just scared that this amazing cruise line will suffer for such rapid expansion. Time will tell. Either way, stunning ship, amazing itineraries, wonderful crews! What’s not to like?!

This looks like it would be an amazing experience. I have only cruised the mainstream cruiselines (RCL, Princess, CCL, NCL, and MSC). The crowds are quite diverse. Is a Viking cruise a welcoming experience for people of diverse backgrounds? I don't wan to be mistreated on vacation just for being different.

One of those is the Cruise Category! The Multi Awarded in all Categories is still with Viking! Hope this helps.

Wife and I are thinking about Viking cruise, but I’m concerned about being around a bunch of old folks… we’re in our early 60’s but are very active and act much younger.. I’m not trying to be disrespectful… can anyone who has been on Viking comment on this???

We are in our 70s and we're on 2 ocean cruises Not all people are physically challenged. Take the risk and just go.Thetr are 930 people to cruise with Personally. I carry on my bathing suit and if there is time before you get the room ' change in the bathroom and enjoy an amenity . We also noticed a lot of people are "thinking". People. We traveled the. Viking Venus twice. Looking forward to a. Canada to fourth Lauderdale in the fall Good luck.

My wife and I are in our early 50s. Both Hispanic. Obviously we were not welcome there because of our race. Treated badly by Snobby Older uppidy crowd though. Wanna pay 5 grand per person, this is the ship for you. Screw Viking!
