Proud and upright, the Viking Shield Maiden never backs down from a challenge to defend her tribe. This 90% Tungsten front weighted dart is a spear for those who constantly improve their skills and sharpen their eye - waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Backed with the strength of the mighty Shot Darts Siege interlocking grip, and finished in blazing colours, this Maiden is ready for the power and the glory of the battle.
This versatile front weighted dart set has three clear grip zones in two grip styles.
Radial shaped no-slip ringed grip nose for excellent grouping and high score potential with a fixed reference point.
It is followed closely by the decorative mark of the Shield-Maiden which can also serve as a reference point.
The midsection of the barrel features the mighty Viking ‘Siege’ interlocking grip.
Finished with a ring gripped straight tail which is suitable for those who use a rear grip.
A rich, highly reflective Violet PCT colour coating finishes this barrel. This light coating is only microns thick and reflects the base sheen of the tungsten with stunning results.

I've been throwing with these for a few seasons now. Put on some longer stems for stability and a bit more horizontal landing. I've always had similar shaped darts but the grip makes these my favorite set.

​@@Lilamaria6788Coincidentally I have a set of Priestley's but they have a bit shorter bulky part at the front of the barrel. And the Shield Maidens are grippier. Hope this makes sense.

​@@HoudiniNL​@HoudiniNL I think I got it thanks? I used to throw bomber shapes but Lowes are little bit too short. Trying to find little bit bomber shape and little longer. I have copy of priestleys coming so we'll see how those are. Shield maiden looks good shape so I wanted to ask. There any cheaper versions of maiden? Like same shape?

@@Lilamaria6788 I went to my local darts shop (McDartShop) in NL and tried about 4-5 different sets on their test board. Then I just picked what felt best, which happened to be Shield Maidens... :-) They have a large range of darts, perhaps you can have a look for inspiration. I also fancied Mission Kuro M4 but here are more similar shaped darts. Anyway, good luck finding a new set. :-)
