Ahh I've been slinging my sling wrong. On my VLTOR IMOD I had the buckle positioned on the body side of that thing on the top of the stock that you route the sling through (whatever that is called) instead of the opposite side.

I may just be doing something wrong, but the actual adjustable sinch part of the sling doesn't change the length at all, it doesn't matter if I pull it close or push it away, it doesn't tighten or loosen the sling. Any help would be appreciated

The instructions state, "ensure that when you connect to the rear that the sling is attached to the top of the stock, not the bottom". What the hell does that look like. The photos included look like somebody took pictures with a Xerox machine from across the room.

It means make sure that the strap is going up and over the top of the stock not down and below the bottom of the stock

i have a sopmod stock and it only has a loop at the bottom ! when i attach directly to the stock in this manner, switching sholders it quite difficult ! any suggestings ?

I bought one upgrade version of VTAC MK2, and just delivered, intend to put it on my savage 212 hunting rifle, but it does not come with but stock adapter, is this normal? if I have to pay separate, where can I get one? thanks.

Any recommendations on good RELIABLE heavy duty QDs? I'm one of those that thinks at the most inopportune moment, the QD will release and down goes my weapon.

Any name brand QD swivel should serve you well. My favorites are made by Vltor, Gear Sector, and Troy. I've never had any of those fail

In 11 years of law enforcement, and thousands of thousands of rounds of drills and training, I've NEVER had a problem swapping trying side/weak side, attaching the sling to the left side... Never seen a reason to go on the right side... That said, I have had the sling get between the stock and my shoulder, and pinch me on the neck when I tried it on the right side... guess if you're into uncomfortable shouldering and hickory like bruises, right side mounting is the way to go. Every "operator" on KZbin has a reason for putting it on the right. I've come to the conclusion it's just a "douchebags are awesome" thing to do.
