Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing. I have always used the Testors clear coat. I have found the Valejo Acrylic Matt Varnish to be just as good and very flat.

@@JackSargePainting Thanks i fount them. Do you think you could list or recommend me the colors you used for this video? I find your color scheme really nice and i have absolutly no idea about color.
@JackSargePainting2 жыл бұрын
@@halloheinz I use colours from many different manufacturers. For lower status warriors many of the WW2 colours from Vallejo are appropriate. For higher status warriors have a look at re-enactment groups like Swehanaz on Facebook for colour inspiration. I also take inspiration from people who experiment with early medieval dyes, and have found a number of pictures on the internet showing what colours can be achieved.

Great work, I've started painting Vikings and I think my colours were too bright, the ones you've used on a softer palatte are great. I thought the same about the flags, they are huge, I cut the flag pole and make it like a cross and hang a smaller flag downwards. There's a footsore miniatures video how to do it if you feel those flags are too big. Thanks for video

There's been a trend for oversized flags in gaming for a few years now, started with the late C.17th gamers, I reckon. Personally, I think they'd be impractical to hold (esp. in a decent wind), look silly and might be trying to compensate for something :)

Wonderful work as usual - I never think of your work as being too dark personally. If you do sell your minis make sure you let us all know where they are on sale as I am pretty sure you'll get a lot of interest from the community
