As I've always said, against better competition in the playoffs you have to tweak your play calling. Minnesota needs to involve the TE's snd RB's in a short pass game. Simplify it for Darnold. Run the ball more. Then, that sets up the deep play action. The point is Dam needs to get the ball out of his hands quicker. If the play isn't there Sam needs to tuck the ball and run. Make your offense simpler but more decisive. Defensively don't change much of anything.

With the running game, I'd like to see it be more creative. You watch other teams and you see nice run plays, and think to yourself why don't we do some of that. Also use Aaron Jones in the passing game more.

Darnold carried this team 11 of the 14 wins. He needs better protection or plays need to change. He also has a run capability that has not been exposed by KOC because. I think KOC is/was worried about injury and perhaps rightfully so with not real backup. Now, he has DJ so I expect to see designed run plays.

Well when one of your olfeensive line players has a bad day doesn’t make it where you just stay in the pocket. You have to adjust every game. KOC after half time had to make Darnold roll out of pocket. He didn’t. Thats all on KOC!! That is why they lost .. so in the rams game there will be. Break down , KOC has to make the adjustment . That ‘s what drive me nuts about KOC . He just doesn’t adjust enough.

@ I wish I knew bc then I’d bet on the outcome. I made a decent amount betting on the Vikes games this year early on. They had one of the best records against the spread. If I had to bet on this game I say they lose to the Rams just like I bet they’d lose to the Rams earlier this season.

If the Vikings do not make changes and adopt the three-step drop back and quick throws they have no chance to beat the Rams, let alone the Lions the next week. No chance. We need a HUGE day from TJ Hockenson and Cam Aikers, not just rely on JJ and Aaron Jones like we have been.

Vikings got tackle better by the legs , when they body tackle they get dragged 4-5 yards down feild . Darnald has to release ball quicker just my takes and observations

If Sam struggles expect Daniel Jones to come into the game for the second half. He may be on a short leash, but I predict either Sam gets banged up and DJ comes in OR SD struggles and DJ comes in to win the game in the fourth quarter. I believe he goes on to beat the Lions with SD on the bench. The Rams and Lions will not be prepared for him as much as they are licking their chops to take down a QB both have beaten already this year.
