He is also associated with the murder of the King of East Anglia, Edmund with Ivarr Ragnarsson . Ivarr is always depicted setting on a throne like chair , with a great Viking Axe, with two good legs ....---- Ivarr and Ubbe were not related. ---- Ubba was a Dane or possibly a Frisian ! Ubba was killed in battle in 878. Ubbe and Ivarr are famous for the atrocity and horror against women, children and babies in East Anglia... ( From Anglo-Saxons Chronicles and Annales Eadmundi, 10th century. ) Ivarr died from a fatal fever and infection, in his bed. Possibly dysentery !

@@MinimalLovin I don't think Bjorn. I feel the show wanted Bjorn to be greater but he didn't accomplish that at all to me. It's like they wanted to push him to be greater to make the stakes bigger but Bjorn ain't Ragnar mate. I prefer both Ubbe and Ivar over Bjorn. Ivar redeemed himself and went out the way he chose in battle like a warrior and was an incredible tactician. Ubbe was a peaceful man who wanted to explore and farm and keep a simple life which i follow in. Bjorn was great but he wasn't really smart and always thought with his dick before anything else

Indeed, Ubbe was the adventurer also his curiosity too other religions and silent leader, Ivar was the balance inside Ragnar between briljant and crazy and the unrest inside Ragnar. Bjorn is how people see Ragnar as the perfect viking. and hviserk has the same emptiness inside like ragnar that he tries to fill with drugs. Its really good writing. Specially with foreign names etc.
