True that robot aspect does makes him different. I think tho someone like Bruce.. his charisma his movements all the way down to his high pitched Kia was like music. It was something so special that people tried to emulate it, but it was his. It’s like how everybody tried to emulate Michael Jordan after he came out. They started dressing like him cutting their head bald trying to play like him because the fluidity of the soul the personality you gravitated to. That same thing with Bruce was with Michael Jordan. Bruce was MJ before MJ. MJW,has more personality and more character when he’s playing a role not connected to martial arts (cuz he’s a damn good actor). But guys like Wesley Snipes, Jean-Claude Van Damme Hell, even Steven Seagal, had their personalities attached to their styles.

True but do not speak on the dead in martial arts. I grew up training and was not a Bruce fan but definitely researched him later and became impressed. He was a real fighter. Now Bruce did not influence my journey but Bruce would fight anyone. The man is dead its against martial arts protocol to speak on beating someone you have never net and who would actually fight you if you challenged him. It is a weak feminine move by Mike to me. But to each is own. I expected a lot better out of him. It is ok he feels he could win but i would say i do not know who would win but i am confident against anyone. Leave it there.
@Kawarezayi Жыл бұрын
I’m Bruce Lees own words.. “Take no thought of who’s right or wrong, be not for or against.” Let the dead be in peace. Bruce Lee lives in the heart of millions, because of his charisma, his talks, he brilliance behind the camera, he writings, his dedication to self mastery. In my honest opinion he was the last true martial artist. Because what we know as a martial artist now is guy who fights for a living, to try to be the best or the strongest and so on, but he tried to beat himself on all planes, he pushed his limits physically & mentally, and he thought people that the human body alone is more important than any established system or principle, he didn’t believe in forms, sadly people even turned his own philosophy into a from, a style, which he would hate now. But that’s just how stupid human beings are, they always label things, and thus everything they touch crystallizes. But Bruce Lee thought that there shouldn’t be no form or crystallization, everything is moving, everything is fluidity. And honestly to think of these things during a time like that is just amazing, and that alone should give you a thought of how amazing this man was. Not only in martial art, even in body building and much more. I think he was universal man, like da Vinci and such. But we have people who are killing themselves for money and to earn glory and boost their egos of becoming the best “fighter”. They’re put in these cages like animals for entertainment and are owned by organization such as ufc, One Championship and so on. Most of them are illiterate, hateful, drunk, doing drugs, saying hateful stuff to each others just to sell, is this what you call a martial artist? Please put some respect on Bruce Lees name. Bruce Lee transcended martial art in many ways, he was one of the first to integrate fighting mitts into training, he advices full contact sparring, he integrated cardio into his trainings as a martial artist, all the stuff they’re doing right now? He did it back then, for a young kid to even have the confidence and balls to go and do these seminars in front of professionals and teach them a thing or two is beyond amazing, absolutely incredible, to this day people who saw him, knew he was the best, the things he talked about then they had never heard before, and that is why some people hate him, because this young kid broke all their illusions, and they couldn’t understand what was happening. But the real ones who saw him talk well of him, and they knew even though he didn’t fight as in a sport, that he was something out of this world, because they all trained with and under him and they all sensed it. He is like mythological hero, like Achilles and so on, he will be remembered forever, because he showed us that there’s a certain potential laying dormant deep within us and that we too can awaken it and become extraordinary beings, which we are, just dumbed down by society, broken, castrated, weakened like tamed animals, go back to your instinct. Bruce Lee was the last true Martial Artist, peace, take care of yourselves guys!.

Kind of looking loose and lazy, which is good when you're actually fighting but back in the old school, you'll see Bruce Lee, Van Dam, Jackie Chan, and others have that "Spirit". Essentially he said he shouldn't have talked like that about Bruce because he inspired many people to become martial artist, including himself. I personally didn't find what MJW said that offensive. Difference in size matters in a real fight. Maybe he could beat Bruce, maybe he couldn't, we will never know. Though Bruce Lee is no doubt a legend, people should stop pretending like he was a demigod, who could beat everyone.

Michael I’d bet has never been in any real fights, ever; because of his size and skill, dudes probably avoided fighting him his whole life. So he has a whole bunch of semi-justified ego, but has probably never been hit in the head too much, which is another skill entirely. Dude went upside his own head talking about beating mike tyson recently. He’s completely lost his shit. Prime Tyson would dislodge his brain from his spine in a no holds-barred match. I have cousin just like him actually. He’s bigger than I am by maybe 50 pounds but is just as quick, and has never been in many fights for exactly the same reason; dues just don’t approach him. And has the same complex. It’s like he’s a keyboard warrior but in the martial arts realm.

Bruce Lee is a real martial artist, like Rocky Balboa is a real boxer. People expect MJW, who has spent his entire life working hard and training martial arts, to say that a martial arts actor is better than him. @tehf00n Жыл бұрын
There is no disrespect in what MJW said about Bruce Lee. Why? Because Bruce Lee would have said it himself. How can I be so sure? Because Bruce Lee would adapt. He inspired more people to learn and he never had the intention of being the best in the world, just the best in the current fight. He would understand he's not the most physically strong person in the world, he might be the quickest at his weight, but one martial artists knowing how to lead a punch into a follow up could catch him. He would be absolutely aware of that and he put it in his movies. He always gets hit in his movies. It's also obvious MJW absolutely respects Bruce. But it's not wrong what he said.
@eddiegee2940 Жыл бұрын
But he is dead wrong about Bruce not a fighter He's not done diligent research. Why you think MJW never had interest in meeting with Jesse Glover before his passing. Bruce's first student who was Black . Jesse would tell him Bruce was real deal and more skilled than, and faster than MJW.
@bulletproof1581 Жыл бұрын
Lol everything you've said is wrong. 1 Bruce Lee was so far ahead of everyone else that he couldn't be hit even by his own students, but common sense when it comes to making movies is that the main character is supposed to get hit sometimes lol, people want to see a challenge and they want to see someone overcome adversity. Secondly and I'm sorry to burst a bubble here, but the reason why MJW is wrong and disrespectful, is because MJW can't actually fight at all what so ever. I'll explain why, MJW essentially trains a bunch of kicks and punches and movement so he can look good in his movies, and because he's on a shit tonne of steroids he's fast and explosive, but he's never done anything with any professionals to prove how legit he is. I've only seen 1 video of him doing something resembling sparring and he was absolutely god awful in it. Also I'm not just talking about doing things like hard sparring for the record, I mean even light speed sparing like UFC fighters do all the time to work on distance and timing and reflexes etc. MJW is as much of a ''legit fighter'' as Stallone was a legit boxer after training for Rocky. Can he look like a legit karate fighter in his movies, sure. Is he a legit fighter in real life though, no.
@eddiegee2940 Жыл бұрын
@@bulletproof1581 Right, and MJW left a lot of factors on how to beat Bruce. MJW said stupid sh%t like I'm bigger and just as fast. Wrong, what if MJW flashy kicks won't be able to connect because Bruce has fast reflex and able to telegraph it and can sweep MJW or attack his legs, injured it and be immobile. Or just kick to the groin and it's night night.

My gripe is that why is Jai white saying things like Jean claude van damme is not a fighter when van damme is doing the same exact thing Michael Jai white is doing? In my opinion Jai White is no different from Van Damme or Seagal when it comes to their careers. It's a case of calling the kettle black. Steven Seagal is like that too, especially with Van Damme, who still holds a grudge. They all do the same thing but then call eachother out on it while the professional fighters are like "you do know we make money doing this, right?"
