Why not build on Billa Ranga Basha with the idea Anup already have and recruit new writers and fresh perspectives and create a Web show as big as GOT or HOC,the crown pitching it to Netflix or Amazon,HBO which gives a production budget and more creative liberty and can cater to larger audience and have so much to explore.

Making a webseries in Kannada... Not a bad idea but the financial returns might be a barrier, if they shoot it in Kannada only then audience will be a small chunk that's why only Hindi language webseries are making it big because they have a bigger set of audience to engage. But if they are dubbing it in several languages themselves, I don't think it's an easy process and earn good returns. And moreover, Anup's mojo is visual grandeur and theatrical releases are the ones that may justify it most, but yeah can't rule out anything, he might be capable of doing a series as well..

After Vikrant Rona will be released Anup Bhandari will have a credibility of his own and market for his direction that production can believe in ,, Visual grandeur is something that's cool to experience in theatres for sure ,,but it's limiting the chances to explore creative wise or development in story its better for web show like GOT which gives so much more with visuals and all. As the content is universal the dubbing to all languages isn't must if the story is gripping enough. And in these days dubbing can be given to dubbing artists bcoz they now know how much they have to take their job seriously

Thank You to Kairam Vaashi for such an insightful conversational interview. My takeaways and points to add • The Name "Vikrant Rona" when I heard it, I remembered 2 things, one "Rona" as Anup Sir mentioned Rona village from Gadaga, more avid due to Mufthi movie based in Ronapura and "Vikrant" reminded me of the Naval Ship "INS Vikrant", interestingly there's a ship sequence also. • I think apart from being writers and directors what is helping Namma Kannada directors is the extra skills they possess, for example Prashanth Neel understands the editing process he thinks of the edit while shooting or writing. Likewise Anup Bhandari's skill is Music and lyrics, he tries to get that right. • Technically, it helped me know a lot of things, especially the 3D conversion process, probe lens thanks for adding the pics too. A normal Kannada news channel wouldn't go deep into such aspects and neither are the interviewers qualified enough nor is it their requirement. They should need specific points to reach it to the common audiences. • Maybe just wanted to know a little bit about the Chakravyuha kind of Police Station set as well, we've talked about Forest set for almost all interviews. • Finally, I don't care about records in box office collections but only hope and pray that it delivers what it looks to have promised. So that, Billa Ranga Baasha can go on floors with an eye on a higher aim in mind.
